NAND Gate using Transistors on a Breadboard

- This circuit indicates the working of a logical NAND gate using two transistors.
When either or both the switches are open, the current cannot flow through the transistors to ground. The current flows through the LED instead. This causes the output to go HIGH.
When both switches are closed, both the transistors turn ON. Current flows through their collector-emitter paths creating a short circuit to ground. Therefore the current does not flow through the LED and the output goes LOW.
I'm from South korea your video is so good!😄
Thank you! 😃
Thank bro.dil se thanks.❤❤mera nand gate work hi nhi kr rha tha thanks to you bro it's working now.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Followed these instructions - it sort of works, but the LED only dims slightly when both buttons are pressed - is that what's supposed to happen, or should it turn off completely?
Thank you for watching my videos. I retried the circuit with the same components as mentioned in my video. I see that when both the switches are closed, the LED completely turns OFF. I hope you are using the identical value of resistors and 9V cell as mentioned in the video. I also saw that if the 1K resistor (Between Vcc and Collector of T-1) is replaced with a lower value resistor, the LED does not turn OFF completely when the switches are closed. The LED will turn OFF completely for a higher value of resistance. Please let me know if you continue to face this problem.
@@electronics_champ Thanks for your help! I discovered my mistake - one of my transistors was the wrong kind - works perfectly now!
Is it okay to use C945 as an alternative for BC 547?
Sir dono buttons press krne per bhi.....light off nhi ho rhi hai...kal project submit krna hai, please jaldi btaaiye ,kya kre
Resistors aur battery ki value check karye. Agar isme koi change hai to LED theek se respond nhi karega.
This isn't working for me. I have exactly what you wrote and exactly the right wires. I showed to an electrical engineer and he doesn't understand the right portion of the board. It seems there is already a connection from the positive to the negative directly. I push both buttons and it doesn't go off. Are the buttons very specific on how they are placed?
Thank you for your interest. Can you please send a pic of your circuit on:

I love these clear instructions and tutorials! Please continue to make more! BTW, you earned a sub.
Thank you very much. Glad you like my videos. I'll continue to upload more videos on digital electronics and Arduino. So stay tuned!
Bro is it necessary to use resitence Or not
If you use no resistance it will kill LED
great video bro thanks
Thanks for the clear instructions!
Glad you liked it. Please do watch the other videos in my channel. Thanks again.
Sir dono button push krne pr bhi led on h ,kya kre
Please try again by increasing the resistor between Vcc and Collector of transistor T1 (1:08)
Thanku
Sir, it's not working for me
Can you give me some more details about the issue?
It help me to make xor gate
hey bro its not working for me
