Whoa Nelley, 1956 and hit the bricks. No, you got most of the VIN decoding wrong, but that's OK. LOL. Thanks to all who served or are serving the country. We got the VIN, we win: M for 292 CID V8 with four barrel, approximately 202 HP (since it's an automatic, a manual transmission had about 200 HP), 6 for 1956 model year, D for Dallas, TX assembly, T for Fairlane Tudor sedan and the rest is the production sequence. The Dallas, TX plant closed in 1970. We got the tag, we can brag: 73C for Ford Fairlane Tudor sedan, C for Bermuda Blue/E for Colonial White, S for "Style Tone" paint combination, H for Light Blue/Medium Blue cloth interior trim, 21B for Tuesday February 21, 1956 production and 698 for the 698th car produced and the ""D" might mean Dallas, TX assembly again. Whoa Nelley, Autolite soon to be out of sight. That's it, time to quit. Ford Tudor soon to be no more. Style Tone needed a bone. Going to be flat and that's that. Made in the Lone Star State and never that great. 292 and it's over for you. Going to get squished and even in 1956, no one was that remotely pissed.
@@davidmckinney6577 Thank goodness for that. If the world was filled with 1950s cars today, we'd be in trouble. They were right for the times and I'm all for keeping the ones alive that are out there, but on the whole, they were pretty bad.
@@ClassicRideSocietyHey Benny, I just got my Dad's 1976 Monte Carlo back and could use some parts/trim/etc. I know you collect those parts from seeing alot of your videos, do you have a website or email we can reach you at? Take good care of your spine- take some Aleve and rest up, my back is messed up too. God Bless!
what a beautiful car that was Benny, it brings back such good memories for me with my father's 55 Ford Customline 2 door sedan basic black when I was just 2 years old. I barely remember it. 👍
The absolutely first memory of my entire life was in that exact same car! My Aunt Joan had that car and we were in it driving home and the News came on the radio that JFK was assinated 🥺

@googleusergp l remember my uncle asking me as a child in 1970 , l paid 75 dollars for it do you think l paid too much? The vehicle had a small tear on the driver's seat at the top where the piping met the fabric.
@googleusergp l saw my uncle junk a 56 Plymouth two door Belvedere that looked great when I was a child. I would love to have it today and find a 354 or 392 early hemi to install in it.
Cool car. Ive seen worce being saved. But being in a place like that I'm guessing it will be picked apart, those chromed details and enterior parts being first. In my place, more doors are more desired even as classics.
Even though she's a Ford still sad to see this car junked. I would cry if she was a 55 chevy no matter how many doors. I prefer classic wagons the most but I am just as fond as 4 doors in this Era as I am 2 doors. I can't believe someone junked her though. Thanks for posting,, I wish I was born when these cool cars were rolling all over.
At least this one got a second life at some point and was mildly customized. She lasted longer than most 50's cars. There are still some 50's cars in a few yards near me, but they're really heavily, heavily rusted. One could probably rip them apart with their bare hands.
Well this thing should have never came here why?? Its a 50's car thats not that bad anything this complete should be saved holy crap i hope the guy decides to just keep it around and possibly sell it..

I hope they don't scrap this car. Ship it to Cuba. They will fix it up and have it back on the road in no time.

The blue white combo back in 56
White wall tyres it would have looked cool

even sadder is that it may not be picked over much before ot gets crushed as this yard doesn't get much traffic
Benny and the jets there is still a lot of driver quality parts on there for someone just starting out.

Too bad looks like worth saving, even a more door. Once their gone, they're gone! Thanks Benny stay safe down there.

same to you 👍
Mr. B. Here ! ☕️👀😎👍 That so sad , just a matter of time ! RIP ⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️ Benny big trip Mr. & Mrs 🛩️🛳️ ! Take care .

Good parts car.
Thats nice n worth saving.🇺🇲
That car still has some decent parts that should be saved.
I was considering the grill
🏁 thanks Benny
👍
Even the radio for a 56 Ford is hard to come by and they want a fortone when one is available.
That car is nearly 70 years old Benny
it's definitely up there in age
She got that Bluetooth engine.😂
😄
That’s a damn shame, regardless of condition
I would buy the side moldings n resell them 🇺🇲
I was thinking about the grill
🥺😧😨😢😭😱😞
What yard is this at btw
Little John's
What have you done to your back , is it serious or are you just carrying on
I think I had done some heavy lifting the day before and I was sore. plus some lower back degeneration
