omg thats awesome! just looked on my car card i did on skoda uk site and my sportline superb 1.5tsi dsg has that as standard! now i definitely cant wait to get my brand new car!!
Have you got traffic sign recognition on your new car Michael? If you have, it might - just might - have predictive cruise, which means it will react to speed limit changes and slow tou down for bends and roundabouts 😃
@@generationxtec5576 ooh dont know will have to look - Adaptive cruise control (with "follow-to-stop") and speed limiter, Forward collision warning incl. autonomous emergency braking, for adaptive cruise control "high" and Lane change assist . wotever all that lot means lol
It was a very good video thank you. Adaptive Cruise Control is very good on rural higher-speed routes but I find it almost painful in urban environments because of of the constantly evolving traffic conditions, lower speed limits, traffic lights, roundabouts and zebra crossings etc so I rarely use it in town.
Thanks for this demonstration ! I'm about to order the Enyaq and wondered whether it's worth adding ACC as an option.... Looking at this video, I think I will :-)
Just one comment - you can pull the cruise control lever towards you rather than touch the accelerator pedal to reactivate adaptive cruise after it has paused in traffic. It saves having to move your feet (if you are really lazy).
Holy shit I’ve just figured out why middle lane hogs are getting more prevalent! Bet you they have all this assistive cruise control stuff and they can be bothered to look to change lanes anymore, just happy to slow down if someone pulls out on them, speed back up when they pull in! Magic. I may try it
You know what, that's gone through my mind too. It explains a lot why you've got a car sitting behind you when you're in lane 2, and they speed up and overtake as soon as you pull back into lane 1.
Helpful and informative video, thank you. I have the new 2020 Superb and have been playing around with the adaptive cruise control today. A question, if you don't mind... how did you set up your dash cam? I just find the 12 Volt AC plug in and the bulky charger you plug in doesn't fit unless you have the compartment open... I haven't been able to find a USB charged dash cam... your help would be appreciated!
Thanks, I hard wired the dashcam rather than plugging it into the 12V socket. I used a Nextbase hard wiring kit and piggybacked it off the fuse for the rear wiper. The fuses are behind the glove box so it's easy to hide the wires. This video is in the pre-facelift Superb (2016) but the 2020 model is exactly the same.

Really helpful. I'm finally about to get a skoda with this fitted.
Great video... I have decided to get ACC on my new Skoda now.
“Thank you Waze but I don’t see any traffic ahead.” Next frame, sitting in traffic.
Great review! Well done on 23k views!
Helpful and informative video good use of camera angle, thanks so much

1.5tsi probably have dsg7 dry clutch .. It is not worth going into this configuration. better to look for a model with wet dsg clutch.

Go for it, it's a game changer.

Yes you can, thanks for pointing that out 👍
Lovely showcase of the ACC, thank you! Do you know how it works with a manual transmission?
I haven't driven a manual, but I believe it stays engaged until you press the brake or go below 20mph. Not entirely sure though.
@@generationxtec5576 All right, thanks for the answer. Then I'll probably find out on Saturday :D
Very interesting video, you've got another subscriber 😁
