      aaron is nothing compared to him. aaron invented nothing. j-kill does dunks no one is able to do like the eastbay behind back over person. aaron did nothing but being born tall and reproducing things that others do.

    As someone that skated for years, it seems like Jordan approaches dunking the same way a professional skater approaches learning and inventing new tricks. Skateboarding is an individual sport and it's the most fun when you have others there to push you and get stoked on what you are doing. It's all about the progression of the sport. Jordan never says his goal is to be the best basketball player but to be the best dunker. I enjoy watching his progression and seeing the what he will come out with next. Keep it up!

    The last time I Dunked, I was 35 and my weight was 170 , I'm 5'9 and a half. Now I'm 53 and and my weight is 210, I had a serious bad injury and now I'm fighting the big c. Never take time for granted. One of my goals is to Dunk again. Ifirst saw Jordan when he Dunked at the NBA All star game. I'm happy for him and I agree, dunking is a great feeling and it makes you feel like you can be successful in other facets of your life.
    Keep rising , Jordan !

    Great profile On Point. :)
    Did he talk much about the program he put together and why it has been successful for him (or his brother)? I'd love to learn a little as to why his program is different/better than other vertical programs out there.

      Chris Hargrave Thanks Chris. Yeah he talked a bit about Bouncekit. His brother also mentioned that his jump has improved greatly in two weeks on Bouncekit. He talked to us about nutrition and the weight program. We may put out a smaller segment of him talking about Bouncekit.

    Jordan should play volleyball just for fun for a month and let's see how good of a hitter he can be with his Vertical of 50"! Seeing how he can get his head over the rim and has the world record box jump of 75" I would pay to see him hit and his blocking would be amazing! He needs to do it!!

    • @jordankilganon3909
      @jordankilganon3909 9 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Haha, volleyball was probably my best sport in high school. So when I get the chance to hit a couple balls I 100% do it. Although it always ends up being on days where I have sore legs. Someday I'll have to try with fresh legs. Won't be till after the summer though (when I'm done traveling). Check out my vine, that's usually where I'll post a couple spikes when I do them. (I'm goofy footed btw)

    • @ONPOINTBASKETBALL
      @ONPOINTBASKETBALL  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a chance bro. Those rims are definitely 10 feet. Jordan has a 48 inch vert. Trust me. He can dunk way higher than a 10 foot rim.

      How tall is he

    • @zpe1200

      got the time wrong its 3:46 you can see he is touching the rim and his feet are inline with just above his bro's knees.

    • @ONPOINTBASKETBALL
      @ONPOINTBASKETBALL  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +zpe1200 There is no question about the rim height. it's at a local Sudbury college and the rims afe regulation height. Jordan has a 48 inch vertical so he could easily dunk and 11-12 foot rim. He is maybe 6'1" max. Cheers.

    @wadek798 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've seen guys dunk like that in the inner cities and around the country on courts around the USA. I will admit that he is talented as a dunker but I hope there's more to him than just dunks cuz dunkers are everywhere throughout the US. I know, he's from Canada where the talent pool is a lot less. God bless him and good luck to him.

    • @joshdiaz378
      @joshdiaz378 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +KENNETH WADE Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver are all 3 cities that have inner city urban dunk contests just as comparable to American cities. All 3 cities are considered international cities just like Chicago, Philadelphia, DC, NYC, Atlanta, Houston, LA, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Vegas, Phoenix etc...etc....so its REALLY not as small of a talent pool as you may think. Inner city American pro dunkers actually travel to Canada just to compete in contests and visa versa. This guy is not just good according to Canadian standards, he's good as both an Int'l AND American competitor. By the way, Europe's pro dunkers are just as talented as any American pro dunkers. This is a worldwide international thing. America doesn't set the standards anymore like they did in the 90's, 80's, 70's, and 60's.

    • @wadek798
      @wadek798 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Josh Diaz I do realize that as well...no issue my friend... but considering the number of people is what I'm talking about. they do not compare in sheer numbers is all I'm saying. I've traveled to a couple cities in Canada, Vancouver and Toronto as well.

    • @wadek798
      @wadek798 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Josh Diaz Agreed! look at all the international players in the league these days! They have a different style game in Europe than do here. But I still lean talent wise towards the US, but I give recognition to the other ballers around the world. Thanks again for your input my friend.

      KENNETH WADE
      You're Welcome and no problem bro. I respect your opinion and for the most part agree with you. We may have a slight upper hand because of our population and the fact that we are the originators of this sport but I still believe if you searched the planet, high & low (inner city, barren desert, countryside, mountain, deserted islands) from country to country and continent to continent, we would find ballers that would give Americans a run for their money. I'm talking about a wanted international terrorist global search for ballers that don't want the spotlight & fame who have impeccable skills & talent beyond the average human imagination. Unorthodox & unconventional athletes who you would least suspect who actually exist in this World. Globally, I truly believe American athletes wouldn't stand much of a chance.

    I don't think he's better than the Team Flight Brother's dudes. Not BETTER, but I think he would be worthy of being a member. I've seen all of those dunks he's done before. In his defense, dunking has been taken so far that its really, really difficult to impress me. Even the TFB's dunks are kind of ho-hum at this point.

      @kaizensupreme8177 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon blow this guy out of the water. This guy might be creative, but that's all he does. Lavine and Gordon actually have jobs and still manage to make their dunks look amazing and they actually finish hard. Some of Kilganons dunks are amazingly creative but he cant dunk them hard enough. Additionaly Gordons dunk in this last dun k contest blows any of Kilganons dunks out of the water period.

    • @lolunderstated533
      @lolunderstated533 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ONPOINTBASKETBALL
      Thanks for the reply! I dont doubt that he himself goes hard on the rim, but what i was trying to express is that he lacks the strength of Gordon and Lavine seeing as they are behemoths compared to Kilganon. I mean it would be ridiculous to see Jordan dunk as hard as someone who is 6"8 and easily weighs 50-60 more pounds. In my opinion its easily more impressive to see someone Gordons size jump as high as he did than someone Jordans height be as athletic as he is. Ill agree Jordan is special but ive seen many guys of all heights including Jordans heights dunk like him but its rare to see someone as tall as Gordon get that high and finish that hard as the air chair dunk, its easily the most impressive dunk ive seen and i never thought id say that about an nba dunk contest dunk.

      It's called work ethic, you need to get one.
      If you want to dunk or even touch and grab the rim at least, you need to work on your body.
      You think Jordan and his bro could dunk out of their mothers womb? aha must be kidding me. They're both above 6 foot, by at least an inch, and they work on their body (strengthening and conditioning)
      I believe in this interview he said he couldn't even hit over a volleyball net before. Now he's jumping over people and doing these crazy dunks.

    • @esa2236
      @esa2236 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're 13 at 6 feet so I wouldn't assume you're athletic at all (not saying that you won't be because you probably will in a couple of years). Right now, your role on the court is just being the fat guy that intimidates all the 5 foot middle schoolers from driving to the basket.

      +Aqua Rockie being able to play D in the NBA is extremely tough because everyone there is so much stronger than regular athletes. If he spent that much time in weight room he won't have enough time to practice his dunks..Shooting is the same thing, his body needs to be so much more physical to shoot under NBA defense besides being a really good shooter.

      TWENTY10 he actually doesn't want to play basketball. He dunks and does well doing it. In Europe where these guys are touring all summer...they are celebrities. Jordan can play ball...but his focus is on dunking which has become very lucrative for him. Thanks for checking out our video! Cheers.

  • @DreamCarGarage1
    @DreamCarGarage1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Taking the act of dunking this far out of the context of actual basketball starts to seem a bit ridiculous. The great dunkers of the past were always given respect in the larger part because of their skill as actual basketball players. My boy here certainly has mad skills but... I don't know. Not really happy to see this as a sport in its own right.

    Nice, but dunking doesn't get you into the NBA. Aint no one going to give you a "free pass" in an organized platform. Can't do a thing when jolly green giant is in your way and hungry giratte is at your left and right.

    But can he actually play this sport?

    • @ONPOINTBASKETBALL
      @ONPOINTBASKETBALL  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He actually doesn't want to play basketball. He wants to dunk and only dunk. His goal is not to play ball...as he used to. He dunks for a living and it's very lucrative...especially in Europe. He's doing commercials and living his dream. Cheers.

    "my whole life is dunking.." pathetic.

    • @ONPOINTBASKETBALL
      @ONPOINTBASKETBALL  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for watching. Actually it's not "pathetic" as he's making a great living from doing what he loves to do. How many people can say that? He won't be dunking forever but he's built a business out of dunking and his "bounce kit" product to help dunkers increase their jumping ability. He gets paid for appearances as well as when he wins dunk contests. He's living a dream and for that he should be applauded. Have a great day! #TeamOnPoint

      +ONPOINTBASKETBALLeven though he's making a living...it's sad that it's his whole life..there is much more to life than money and hobbies.

    • @ONPOINTBASKETBALL
      @ONPOINTBASKETBALL  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Michael Mccauslin I disagree...there's nothing sad about Jordan's life right now. He's living the life he's chosen...travels all around the world and as a bonus he gets paid to do what he would do for FREE! Think glass half full and not half empty. Cheers.

  • @tonzjah
    @tonzjah 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    sincerly, i think that this guy is awsome. But in the Nba there were and there are better dunkers than this guy.He is not even close to Carter or Dominique for example. No disrespect, this dude is impressing!!!

    • @jesuschrist5622
      @jesuschrist5622 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The dunks this guy does Cater and Dominique wouldn't have a prayer in hell putting these dunks down

    • @tonzjah
      @tonzjah 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jesus Christ That's becouse Carter didn't have the time to focus 7 days on 7 on dunking. He's an NBA player. But consider for example the power of his dunks....i think that there's not competition. My two cents

    • @jesuschrist5622
      @jesuschrist5622 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +tonzjah noone has ever put down dunks w this level of difficulty that this white guy does

      +tonzjah just give credit where it is due. This guy is the best dunker ever! Period
