In billiards Efren Reyes called the Magician because of his trick shots this guy here is the Magician of dunk very creative this is the first time I saw those kind of dunks, he truly deserves the title The Dunk King.
At 1:29, that approach is exactly like the approach used in volleyball when spiking. The big arm-swing, the two-footed take-off... It's a great way to achieve this kind of elevation. I played men's volleyball for years, and some of the best leapers in the world are in that sport. Funny thing is, he's not even getting the full benefit of the arm-swing since he has to abbreviate it to reach down for the ball. Wow.

If you take an avarage white guy and an avarage black guy and see how they jump, the white guyis going to lose in 90+% scenarios. So in this case skin color does matter.
You're right it's genetics, black people have more fast twitch fibers typically and are more explosive, it's just genetics and what's been passed on just like white people do really well at swimming etc. All races have things they specialize in and it's silly when people pretend that isn't true

Afterall, he was actually ELIMINATED earlier because he had missed BOTH of his attempts in an earlier round only to be saved and brought back into the competition. In the ENTIRE competition Kilagon missed only 1 attempt and that was an attempt at the uncontested most difficult dunk of the night. And by the way, he completed that dunk on the second attempt. In the end, this will work to Kilganon's advantage as the tape of this show is shown throughout the sporting world/movie industry/and advertising media and he is rightfully rewarded for his artistry. Then shame will be heaped upon those who stooped so low in their petty judgment and determination to publicly humiliate him... because they had the power to do so....this time. But Jordan is too talented not to continue to soar...so watch for him!

Based on the fact that I've seen your head going over the rim in a another video and given that there you also had to think about the coordination, I'd guess you could do about 52-53 inches just trying to get as high as possible. Tho MJ was a big leaper in his prime, this kid is definitely a better dunker. MJ was never the most flashy dunker outside of the dunk contests he competed in. By MJ’s own admission, Scotty was a better ambidextrous dunker than him...especially with the left hand. During games he was usually very minimalist with his dunks while his layup creativity and mid air maneuvering took center stage IMO. He usually went around, under, over defenders with his creativity and finesse rather than go over them with power and height. In fact, during games MJ never leaped any higher than was necessary to finish a play and/or draw a foul. In those day,s it was a serious health risk to tryin leap over and into bigs camping in the paint (no defensive 3 seconds rule). Especially for a guy who was 6’6 and weighed only 195lbs to 205lbs.
