The mummy´s curse is such an stand out for me in the series. The fact that you have a actual visual effect when your Sim is sick adds so much to the inmmersion in the game. It´s so sad that's the only thing like that in the entire franchise.
Another thing about the meteors in TS3 is that they can strike rabbithole buildings. Since TS3 schools can't be left early without cheats, meteors can strike them and kill every child and teen in a world.
This reminded me of the Sims 3 patch notes video "Sims will automatically leave if the meteor is approaching unless it is a school in which children are not allowed to leave and will always die" I actually had a meteor strike my sim's work place and it killed like 8 sims.

Ah yes. I remembered! When mummy's curse expires after 14 days, the cursed sim will get Evil trait, no matter if they die or not. Mummies are powered by evil as in addition to that, sleeping in the cursed sarcophagus will turn sims into mummies and give Evil trait to other life states while sleeping in blessed sarcophagus cures mummies and gives others Good trait.

1:14 I don't know why but the burglar going "WAH!" and running away was hilarious. Also the mummy's curse is some of the scariest sims stuff I ever seen.
You can corrupt a Sim to act like Knut Futa, Jeannie and Ennie by saving, changing a Sim's age, deleting them before saving, then exiting the lot (with a save) and returning again. They will spawn at the mailbox acting like their original age but looking like their new age. Toddlers and children will float at the appropriate head height if you age them up mentally. I used this to make 'fairies'. Turning someone older to a kid whacks out their skeleton so I never did that. I sometimes created disabled Sims by making them act like toddlers. It just gets a little weird when your teen shoves a baby bottle in their chest to drink. Their mental state applies to all age rules- what objects they can use, whether they can woohoo or get pregnant, etc. The first time I discovered this bug/hack/feature was when I deleted a Sim with a bad mood, when I hadn't once saved since she was born and I killed off her parents. When I came back she was lying at the mailbox until she was picked up by the social worker for being a baby left alone. You can also in reverse enable children to live alone by having a child with a teen mental state.
I love Midnight Hollow! It has some of the creepiest households of the franchise. Especially the mad scientist that abducted and brainwashed that poor girl, or the Doe family named after John Doe and Jane Doe.
4:06 That happened to me once. It happened in Starlight Shores after I experienced problems saving a mansion made in edit world. I don't know if that was a coincidence since I've experienced so many bugs and glitches playing Sims 3. But it's still my favourite version. It was very funny to make my Sims talk to their respective clones and see their surprised expressions when they noticed the other one had the exactly same traits and became best friends very fast. One of them even wanted to kiss her clone. 😐 They weren't considered relatives. If I remember correctly, clones obtained though potions weren't considered siblings either.

In the sims 1 after I've got Unleashed I've never had burglars in my house. Dunno if it was a bug in my game, but every time that I had strays in my lot the burglar would turn around and go away lol I couldn't even click in that event video so I would always assume that the pets would chase the burglar away LOL
Raccoon uses same music cue as burglar and often decides to sod off instantly, so could actually be that? Assuming it's been added in Unleashed, not 100% sure on that.
I remember the meteor strike using aliens in Sims 3!! I used to make a family of 4 aliens and have them all summon meteors at the same time and then teleport them back home lmao. The deaths were too many. The mummy in Sims 3 scare the living heck outta me with the sounds they make!!!
Same, sims 4 is too boring and predictable! Also I wish cow plants could autonomously eat sims, you literally have to force your sim to get eaten in Sims 4 lol.
Also, TS2 has most scariest ghosts of the franchise imo. Everytime a sim dies on TS2, either I try to resurrect fast as possible or I just send straight to the graveyard, only to not see them.
I do personally think that in original Sims ghosts are way scarier. It’s just about graphical and lively aspects, I guess. Anyway, I love first two games. Sims 3 and 4 makes me vomit
oohhhh now I knew why my screen somehow a bit dark everytime my sim cursed by mummy. but my sim used to be quickly cured in 4-5 days since they still have some time in Egypt (got visa level 2-3 when the curse happened). so plenty time to explore sphynx and getting cured. I thought it's because my potato laptop can't handle it 😂 maybe now I'll try to let my sim almost dying at 12th day before asking that anubis statue for cure. thanks a lot for the info!
Annoying glitch in my game the other day. My sim started glitching if anyone new tried to move into the same apartment as her. She basically cloned herself a thousand times and walked into her apartment over and over and over and over until there was a million versions of her in the apartment. Fortunately, it didn't affect her own save, I checked but now no one else can move into that building or it happens again 🙃
That is weird, thanks for sharing! It does seem like apartments are a bit more prone to cloning Sims. Was it a custom built apartment or one of the pre-made ones by Maxis? Because i've never had problems with their apartments but i once turned a house from the lot bin into an apartment and experienced the cloning glitch
@@crazymarq4390 No it was one of the pre builts. But my save has been glitchy in so many random ways over the last year. Some have explanations(issues with mods, mostly), some don't. 🤷🏼♀️😂 Had two teenage townies that were townies that were identical clones of each other but had different names and some other random details that were different but also some that were the same? Basically they were identical with the same part time job at the same level but everything else(names, predestined hobbies, skills, OFB badges, etc) were different. It was a very strange situation all around. I say was because one of them started dating a sim I'm playing and is now a young adult in college. So they're no longer exact clones but it was weird for sure. Even though I play in Belladonna Cove, somehow I blame Strangetown 😂
I remember a Sim got cloned when I was playing Sims 2, it was a guy my Sim was on a date with lol, they came home from the date and the Sim's date was already there somehow xD There was 2 of them and it was so confusing cos I didn't know which one was the actual Sim and which one was the clone...

1:09 when ever the evil mascot or burglar arrived on my lot I lured them into a room with the plant, then removed the door and watched them get eaten!
