Adam is talking about how he was worried about ruining Star Wars. In reality, my dude probably has major back problems from CARRYING that trilogy with an incredible performance of one of the best Star Wars characters (at least in my opinion).
Never thought that the one positive takeaway from the trainwreck that was Disney's Star Wars trilogy would be how much we love Adam and to some extent, Kylo Ren/Ben Solo but here we are. To be clear, I'm not complaining. Though I will never forgive Disney/JJ Abrams for wasting his talent.
I can tell Adam struggles a little with anxiety and social interaction but yet I think he talks very well and seems to be an extremely humble & intelligent person. Much respect.
I think most people don't enjoy public speaking, especially talking about themselves, especially knowing that things are being recorded FOREVER, and will be quoted back them in the future.
This moderator is AMAZING. He is so difficult to interview. She kept at it and worked to get him to a place of comfort. His body language just opened up as time went on. Fun to watch. Actually quite fascinating.
I noticed that too. To watch him gradually fall into complete ease, thanks to her. He changed completely. Really was fascinating to watch, for sure. She's superb. Not just by pulling him out from behind that shield of reservation and intensity, she managed to bring out his best most endearing qualities
44:49 I love the fact when Jenelle was talking about Ben Solo character Adam was nodding all the time. And when she stopped he was like „ No it’s not crazy, please continue.” Like he was so pleased because of understanding this character.

Adam is a diamond in the rough. He is incredibly beautiful and well spoken. He is talented and his range is beyond anything I've ever seen. He is so damn funny and he is so beautiful without trying and without even knowing how sexy he is. Adam is someone who you can just hang out with and shoot the shit or have a deep conversation with and be awed by both. Just incredibly beautiful. thank you.

So I thought I got over this crush but yeah ... I’m back. Back in the black hole that is the crushing affection that I feel towards this man that I don’t know.
Said it before will say it again. Jenelle Riley is the best. I can watch any interview she does. Though it helps it's Adam Driver who seems to be most down to earth dude out there who happens to be a fantastic actor.
This woman may be the best interviewer I've ever seen. I love her! What a great rapport she established with this amazing actor. She really did her homework and is so knowledgeable about movies and congenial and respectful.
My heart COMPLETELY melted when he was talking about the kids in his building calling him Kylo and that he just goes with it. Ughhghughughughughuhg. He's just so perfect, jeez. ♥♥♥♥♥♥
the best interview of him certainly. His answers were so thoughtful and deep. I never heard him speaking so profusely and being that at ease during an interview. The moderator is an artist ! Thank you !
Janelle Riley is just the best interviewer out there! This is comfortable, informative, and just fascinating. Adam Driver recognizes right away she is prepared and respectful. Then, he responds directly and is authentically interesting and funny,
I love how genuine he is. Like, he thinks about every question and even though he stumbles over his words here and then, he answers everything Janelle asks in such an eloquent and intelligent manner. Someone already said this in the comments below, but he really is a diamond in the rough.
I came here after watching Marriage Story a second time and realized this interview is a year old. And even a year back he had a prolific career. But 2019 is like the year of Adam Driver! What a brilliant actor. At this rate, he’s going to be the De Niro/Pacino of his generation (if he isn’t already).
I can see now how he's such a humble actor, he never thinks that Star Wars or any other movies is great because of his role, but it's great because of the teamwork. Great principle
How ironic, I joined the military a month after 9/11/01. Of course I stayed in until I retired and had a successful military career. Then started acting, definitely not as successful as Adam though. He’s perfectly articulated the correlation between serving and film production. Definitely an incredible actor.
Jenelle! Thank you! Finally someone interviewed Adam and called him Ben ! Really enjoyed watching this. Wish you would also ask how was to work with Daisy Ridley. Their on screen chemistry is amazing. Let's hope Ben Solo comes back in IX!
She definitely seems like she's team #REYLO to me. Especially since she asked to call him Ben. 😍❤ She's so positive. Great interview. I love Adam as an actor. He's fantastic always.
The interviewer was SO GOOD, like Adam is so hard to interview he’s always so awkward and don’t know how to talk, but you can see him warming up and getting more comfortable and confident and starts to talk more, she’s amazing!
Omg i just died from happiness after finishing this interview and I think I fell a little more in love with Adam Driver!!! Such a fan since Girls!!!! And the moderator needs a raise😍😍😍😍
What a deep, grounded and grateful person. You can tell there have been many inner conflicts. I absolutely see how anxiety always plagues him. Love him so much more
Every interview I watch of his, I appreciate him just a bit more. He's awkward, but he makes it work somehow and still comes off as charming and funny and articulate. Gah, super happy for Joanne Tucker, but in another life, man, I think I'd want to be married to Adam.
You don't have to be attracted to this man to love him. He's put together, extremely talented and a really kind person. He also is vulnerable in some areas and a big inspiration to me. He is just awesome and I want to be like him one day-- a loyal, caring and self-aware person.
Terrific interview. Saw him a couple days ago in “Burn This” on Broadway, so my wife and I are in the throes of all things Adam. It is inspiring to see someone so completely dedicated to his art and his craft; he couldn’t care less about the trappings of fame. So thoughtful and intelligent. And (along with the interviewer) such a great listener...so careful to communicate clearly. His take on the similarities of military life and acting was absolutely fascinating. My wife and I almost shat in our pants when he mentioned a play by a friend of ours, Scott Organ. Very cool. As an actor dedicated to his craft, he’ll continue to improve. His best is yet to come!
I think (other than the fact that he is extremely handsome) the attraction people have for him is how realistic he is, you can tell he's being genuine and if he thinks it'll be funny he says it even if he's embarrassed by it but he's not afraid to say what he feels. He articulates words in a very welcoming and inclusive way. So many people especially in fame are putting on a persona which is neither good or bad but you can tell he isn't.
Recently watched: A Marriage Story. I rarely cry but that last scene was one of those heartbreaking moments where I shed a single tear. Adam and his co-stars on Starwars are some of the best actors of this generation even if Disney mishandled the brand, the actors deserve recognition for their efforts. This was a wonderful insight into Adam and wish I could count him among one of my friends.
Perfect interview! I think Adam is the kind of guy you could have great conversations with and just have fun being his friend. He seems like a genuinely nice person and an amazing actor.
I am fascinated about Kylo Ren character because he represents the internal conflict between the id, ego, and super ego. The conflict of the self and its emotions; fear vs confidence, pain vs peace, anger vs love. Waiting for this conflict to be solved in the last movie. Amazing the way Adam develop this character in each movie. Congratulations! "See you around kid" in future productions to come. Wishing you the best of success and thank you Adam for sharing who are you to inspire others. Thank you Janelle for such an excellent interview! May the force be with you all!
You just put into words what converted me into a Ren fan. I'm interested to see what happens next even if the Internet is inevitably going to to be flooded with hot takes in the wake of the release of "Rise of Skywalker".
I really admire Adam, if I would have a chance to say something it would be - thank you for being yourself. He is really down to earth and the moderator is fantastic too. Thank you!
I’m gonna say this, and I’ll only say this once. But Adam Driver has the most beautiful eyes!!! They’re like plain brown , but when they hit the light you can see the green hazel. It’s so beautiful! 😍
This was fantastic! Lots of great info and fun anecdotes but mostly it was nice seeing him look so relaxed. And Jenelle is adorable and a great moderator!
This is such a complete interview, and as a journalism student, I can only aspire to be as good of an interviewers or moderator as her. Truly such a fantastic interview!
I love Adam Driver he is such an amazing actor. Side note: I'm from a small town in Canada and a bunch of guys in my high school also started a "flight club" they would go to someone's backyard and just take turns fighting each other, bare fist and shirt less. The whole small town bored-nothing-to-do thing is pretty universal i guess.
She is such a great interviewer. Love her questions and ability to make Adam feel so comfortable opening up about things I’ve never heard him share. Their dynamic in this interview is awesome! Great conversation.
I tried to think of words for how much I loved this whole interview, but I'm overwhelmed with happiness. So, just, thank you channel and interviewer!! Adam is the best, such an amazing guy! This was super fun to watch and hear his stories about so many roles and things.
She’s a great interviewer. I think he can get a little awkward and shy, but she keeps asking good questions and keeping him engaged and comfortable. Also he’s just amazing 😍
He's one of those people that the longer they talk the more attractive they get.
YESSSS. It's his voice and intelligence and overall demeanor that is sexy. Not that the gorgeous hair, body, eyes and lips hurt or anything. hehe
He has a really good sense of humor. And he's very humble and gracious.
Literally tho
Trueee
@@bdbdebdhsshheueuhs1505 yes, I have the same view of Sandra Oh, her presence and acting really lift her

She is great!
Shes amazing!
Absolutely. She is amazing. Love these interviews.
When she said “fuck yeah” I smiled.
I was literally thinking the same!!! She wasn’t asking the mediocre questions, trying to get something more obscure and new!
I can tell Adam struggles a little with anxiety and social interaction but yet I think he talks very well and seems to be an extremely humble & intelligent person. Much respect.
Supreme Leader that’s why I like him
He's probably a bit nervous but he has a pretty good level of eye contact with the interviewer. If he had social anxiety he probably wouldn't.
I think most people don't enjoy public speaking, especially talking about themselves, especially knowing that things are being recorded FOREVER, and will be quoted back them in the future.

You think so? I always think his answers are very open, sincere and not pretentious. I never thought that he seemed difficult to interview.
Adam Driver is THE SEXIEST ugly guy . Proves that sex appeal has little to do with looks
Mary Combs I don’t think he’s ugly lol he’s just not the thing people would find attractive until you get into his personality

The interviewer was SO GOOD, like Adam is so hard to interview he’s always so awkward and don’t know how to talk, but you can see him warming up and getting more comfortable and confident and starts to talk more, she’s amazing!
"Good morning Kylo Ren" LOLOLOL!!!!!
Best life ever!!! Lol

Love him so much more
Top actor, best interview with him I've seen.
He is such an amazing person and actor.
Every interview I watch of his, I appreciate him just a bit more. He's awkward, but he makes it work somehow and still comes off as charming and funny and articulate. Gah, super happy for Joanne Tucker, but in another life, man, I think I'd want to be married to Adam.
Imagining the little kids in his apartment building just saying “good morning Kylo Ren!” as he leaves to go to the store is hilarious to picture
Adorable, too.
I grew up in the same town as Adam. He’s right...Hollywood Video was the spot! And also, yes-we all had fight clubs.
Cool! Hope you reach for the big guns.
You don't have to be attracted to this man to love him. He's put together, extremely talented and a really kind person. He also is vulnerable in some areas and a big inspiration to me. He is just awesome and I want to be like him one day-- a loyal, caring and self-aware person.
I get excited when I find out actors/actresses I like are intelligent AND funny!
He is so talented. Love his humbleness and sense of humor
Adam makes the dark side so cool!
He’s so wonderful. This is one of the best interviews he’s been in. Jenelle is great. Adam is himself.
He really has a voice for narration. A very soothing voice.
I can tell that he’s more comfortable in interviews where there isn’t a whole lot of people due to his anxiety
I like Janelle interviews. They’ the best.
I really admire Adam, if I would have a chance to say something it would be - thank you for being yourself. He is really down to earth and the moderator is fantastic too. Thank you!
Adam Driver with the Kylo Ren hair ahhhhh I'm so excited for EP IX!! This was such a great interview. Thank you for doing this!
Anne Cadavos the hair 🔥🔥
I’m gonna say this, and I’ll only say this once. But Adam Driver has the most beautiful eyes!!! They’re like plain brown , but when they hit the light you can see the green hazel. It’s so beautiful! 😍
This moderator is awesome no matter who the star is. Adam Driver is just beautiful and so cool! And, he has beautiful hands.
Love his hands!
44:55 Adam’s little ‘sure’ was the actual cutest thing I’ve ever heard 🥺💙
Thank you SAG for this! It’s just fantastic. Adam is hilarious and made my night, my week, my year lol
This was fantastic! Lots of great info and fun anecdotes but mostly it was nice seeing him look so relaxed. And Jenelle is adorable and a great moderator!
Yup, he's relax ❤
Such a brilliant actor! Every single one of his roles is completely different and unique. I see a long and successful career for Adam!
He is the best actor of our generation!
I love how she’s making him feel comfortable WE STAN HER!!
She: *allows Adam to cuss*
Adam: *cussing at almost every answer*

loved that...💙❤💙 classy she said
I tried to think of words for how much I loved this whole interview, but I'm overwhelmed with happiness.
The best actor of his generation ❤
*This generation (maybe?)
I'm Serious yes
I relate to Adam so much. And I can honestly say he's my hero.
He has that dark intensity that's attractive but also slightly terrifying!
