One of the things that watching these VODs has made me realize is that I probably tend to overthink these games. It’s interesting to see all the things she doesn’t pay attention to: equipment stats, her skill in different weapons, crafting, loot weight-to-value ratios. And yet, she’s probably doing way better than I did my first run. I don’t mean any of this in a negative way, to be clear. It’s just interesting to see how all the gameplay elements I thought were important apparently really aren’t.
Yeah, a lot of the criticism on the first videos of the series were around how she wasn't playing efficiently, using underpowered weapons, choosing the wrong perks, etc. But she's had very little difficulty making it through the game so who cares?
yeah. I thought dead money would be worse then it was on hardcore. been enjoying overall, tho. just hope on later play-thrus she can make use of some of the other systems better. in combo with what she already knows. I am surprised no one told her ADS doesn't work in this game, tho, its all based on stats. she had a couple deaths so far due to missing when trying to aim down sites.
Sadly most super mutants have some form of brain damage. With Nightkin it tends to be schizophrenia and Dissociative identity disorder. There's only a small number of them that kept their sanity and mind upon being turned from being human into a super mutant.
After this DLC I always get guilt-tripped into keeping the stealth suit on, if you try unequipping it she'll say something like "did I do something wrong?" or "okay, I'll go away..."
The robot's name you got muggy's upgrade from is actually "One" when translated from Binary. Not sure where some people got "Jimmy" and "E" from. Their are a couple of other near identical copies of him named "2" "3" "4" etc. I think the joke was to just make a super convoluted way of a super easy ass name.
The most powerful enemy in the game is in this DLC. I agree totally. The DLC is creative and smart, but too dialogue heavy and I didn't know what was going on. Honest hearts had a better story and Lonesome Road played more like a true Fallout survival game.
Disappointing Raul is the only 'pro-legion' companion present in the base game; an unfortunate byproduct of time-cuts, as with much other pro-legion POVs. One of the major weaknesses of FNV, I feel, is that you'd have to be a genuinely evil Courier to feel that the Legion are a good choice for the Mojave.
Well, they are slavers, rapists and murderers. There’s no much depth you can give them really. Caesar is the only one with Hegelian dialectics point but even then his understanding of this topic is really shallow or even outright incorrect. And it’s really okay to have absolutely evil faction, F2 has Enclave after all.

Flutten Companion history: Boone, Doctor Boone, Tribal Boone, Grandma Boone and now Zombie Boone lol
1:17:43 For me it's so funny hearing her slamming the mouse because sensitivity's low af 😭
LMAO that’s really funny, i didn’t realize i did that hahaha oops
You didn’t pick up the Marksman Carbine? Love that gun.
Can't wait for you to do lonesome Road, my fav DLC and if you ask me the most 'epic' setpeice.

Around the 30:00 mark where you got the Muggy Upgrade Parts. That whole area is a cut and paste of the Mechanist Lair from Fallout 3.
Much better use of the interior, superhuman gambit sucked

I put the binary into a translator and it said "E" but maybe I entered the code in wrong
@@gooberaureliusmaximusiii6638 you had to have put it in incorrectly, it is "ONE"
@@gooberaureliusmaximusiii6638 for reference "011011110110111001100101" is the correct string
Some people said Jimmy because her partner's name is Jimmy I think
I love that she had to clarify that Lily was still alive LMAO

35:43 Did Muggy just make a reference to monkey island?

If you could change their mind about slavery and sexism they wouldn't be so bad
The problem is that they follow Caesar and not his ideals
Omg finally out of Old World Blues🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I really like Big MTs ending and general story. But i dont like to play through it
The Mini-Boss Securotron's Binary Name translates to "One".
Also Muggy is so relatable. OCD and ADHD is an interesting combo.
