Absolutely loved your review! The saying is через огонь, воду и медные трубы, which definitely captures The World so well here! 🖤🖤🖤

Ahhhh I knew it wasn’t “бури» is that even a word! My gosh I need to start reading my Russian books to get my native language back.

I can totally see you buying the deck only because of the Strength card 😁. And if you add the World card, it's a no brainer !

All the majors stole my heart! Super clever and I am a sucker for clever!

I do have this deck. The Strength, the Fool and the Aces sold me on this deck. This deck sits out on my desk all the time. I go through the deck often and pick a card or cards and journal about them. I haven't read with this deck yet. Many of the cards give me such a visceral response (the 9 of wands for one) that I find myself backing away from reading with it. There are so many cards in this deck that are thought provoking. I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the majors you picked out, especially your take on the Empress and Emperor.

Quick update: I ordered it! I went to see the whole thing and loved it, but that 3 of Swords was the final nail in the coffin. What a BRILLIANT 3 of Swords!! And, it has clowns, every suit has a clown in it, and I am terrified of them. But as I'm in my "embrace your shadow" era, what I'll do instead is use this deck to find out why I despise them so much. I think this deck is so amazing at going to the root of how a card feels, how that energy shows up in our lives as lived experience, but for every card it does it from this phenomenal questioning and challenging perspective. I'm very excited to work with it. And the creator has a whole video course on this deck, which is also brilliant.

I loved your insights on the cards and agree completely. AND yes, the best STRENGTH card ever! I respect your desire to only use the majors. I just want to plug that the minors are pretty fantastic too. Such as the THREE of SWORDS (still makes me ponder), my favorite TWO of WANDS, the EIGHT of SWORDS, the FIVE of PENTACLES . . . oh, I could go on. This deck is very close to my heart and I am so pleased to see another appreciate as I do.

Completely agree that minors are amazing! It's just so happened that majors stole my heart but I have been working with the full decks since and it has been uncanny in readings.

Thank you for showcasing this deck, I'm very intrigued by it and the linen card stock is a win! I do think it stands out among similar decks because of the thoughtful use of imagery. I always look at the Strength card as it's my birth card and I LOVE this one! Actually in addition to your commentary, I think it has a touch of Thoth's Lust in it. Not in a sexual sense, but in the sense of pleasure and our relationship to pleasure (or what is pleasurable to each of us because it's very different for every person; with dogs I think sausages would be a very common source of extreme pleasure and joy). It then makes me think of restricting pleasure as a negative aspect but also as a positive aspect of restriction as heathy boundaries... A lot of thoughts are being provoked for sure, which is a rarity with tarot decks for someone like me who has a sizeable collection and has been reading for over 2 decades.
