Simon! Thank you SO much for this walkthrough. I've been slowly adding a video guide series over on my channel which includes some of my creator's notes on the intention and thoughts behind each card (in case you are interested😉). I hope you love working with the #PensivePathTarot as much as I enjoyed creating it 🤗🙏🏻💜
If you don't mind my asking, about how long did it take to find all of the images and narrow down which you wanted to use? Did you get the idea and go looking? Or did you see a few that really spoke to you and inspired you to create this deck?
@@ferrisulf Hi there! Sure, thanks for asking! I would say the whole deck from start to finish took about 2 1/2 years. As a collector, I love decks that use old art but they tend to be repetitive, so I set out to use lesser known paintings which (hopefully) make my decks unique amongst all the other 'old art' decks. Throughout 2020 / 2021, I was struggling (as were many) and so, the Pensive Path Tarot was born. That's why everyone in the deck looks super moody, grumpy and irritated. 😆 This deck is very much a reflection of that point in my life and is really close to my heart. 💙
@@theCuratedCard I love it! Yes, I didn't recognize too many, which is excellent! But I was also impressed with how cohesive it felt, like they were created to be together in a deck. That's quite a feat in itself as well.
Isn't it gorgeous Simon 💜🤎🖤 I am expecting my copy any day now ... cannot wait!! (strength is one of my favourite cards ❣)😁 Thank you for the wonderful walkthrough, as always xx And I see Reese was here 😊 thank you & congratulations - your deck is one of the stand outs of the year 🤩
Really fascinating art for this deck. Love some of the choices. Thank you so much for sharing it, Simon. Still thinking about that High Priestess. The Aces are amazing.
This is a really nice deck, you never know when pre existing artwork is used but I do really like this one 🥰 I thought Exorcist too when I saw the 9 of Swords 😆 fab walkthrough my friend 😍❤️
Love the conductor Magician who has control of all the instruments! Also an older high priestess which I think she should be. Reese made some interesting choices--a reminder that the archetypes of tarot have been validated in many forms of art for centuries. I would totally swap the king and queen of swords and the king and queen of pentacles, though. Thanks for sharing the deck 💚
I think the Queen of Swords has a take no prisoners face & that sums her up to me. The Queen of Pentacles (my significator) is one of my favourite cards in the deck, a gorgeous redhead that has definite empathic vibes. Of course this is just my opinion 😀🧸
To me this deck is very confronting , but human. The strength card shows the true power of the card. Another is the tower card, yes is it depicts the tower and the lighting , but also shows more of the larger effect of destruction . They did a wonderful job of matching the art to the meanings. They are such powerful cards they make you look deeply into their meanings. (*ˊᗜˋ*)/ᵗᑋᵃᐢᵏ ᵞᵒᵘ* for the walk-though ! 💖
What is the deck wrapped in cloth in front of you? Is it your favorite deck? Your voice is relaxing without putting me to sleep so it is good for this. Some people have too much enthusiasm that can be overwhelming, and some people have too little. I think you have it right. :)
It’s one of the most beautiful newly releases of the last decade. Reese has done an incredible job. And she is truly an amazing lady ❤
She really has! Love it 😍
@@the_hermits_cave me too Simon ♥️♥️
That World Card and the 10 of Wands and the 5 of cups 😢just made me buy this deck!!!❤ Beautiful!!

Agree, conductor as the magician is brilliant. I also agree completely mismatched image for the Queen of Swords

Of course this is just my opinion 😀🧸
The 5 of P broke my heart 😢
What a beautiful deck
Only downside for me is CLOWNS 😬 haha.
🤡
Yep - I can't do a deck with a clown in it - no way

Thank you! The deck is Keishobou, it’s my current deck for doing my morning cards. 😍
Really nice! ❤
😍
Some of the artwork is beautiful, some is disturbing. WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THE JUSTICE CARD?
Nice share!! You definitely need to research "Promo sm"!!!
