Good video. I put anti seize on my caliper bolts once, and one of them backed out! The caliper would then rotate and slam into the wheel well whenever I braked. Took the wheel off and found out what was happening when I got home from work. Vowed to never put anti seize on them again.
gr8 viDO, & most of all, it was amazing how entire video hid thE other, similar looking plug, perhaps with that ‘clip for other application’ for the bank 1, sensor 2, post cat. oxy-sensor, which I forgot how to wire.. amazing though - the plug was right there on video but I couldn’t see dRn wire. other then that, gr8 vid. chEf, I gotta rewire(or replace) wheel hubs for speed sensor anyways✋😉
I did not catch the torque specs for the 3 x 13mm bolts for the hub, nor the torque for the 2 x 15mm caliper bracket bolts. Only got the 155ft/lb for the CV axle nut. Would be nice to list the torque specs for all bolts you touch, in the video description. Also, having grease on the bolts that hold the wheel seems a little out of place, and I mean any kind of grease on those 5 bolts. Other than that, awesome video. Like you said I wish all hubs would come out that easy.
Is it possible for the bearing to be installed wrong? I had a shop installed a new bearing on mine and before I got home it pulled the sensor wires out.
have a friend with this problem. he said shops wanted upwards of $300 for one wheel and that the bearing would need to be pressed off and on so i decided to check out a video or two on it. it is very similar to the front hubs i replaced on my s10 but that one did not have the wire as i recall. i am thinking about doing the work for him for much less than the quotes he was getting.
Good video but (coming from a mechanic) bad move putting anti seize on the caliper bolts. If anything you’d want to put blue loctite on them to make sure they do not back out. Only two of those bolts and they are big so breaking them off shouldn’t be a concern. You can get a big ratchet on those so being hard to take off is way better then one of them unleashing your caliper on your wheel and destroying it.

You should of put thread lock not, Anti seize.
We never had an issue doing brake jobs this way.

It sounds like they didn't secure that sensor wire properly and the wheel may have grabbed it. I would bring it back to the shop.
No alignment is needed afterwards?
No you should be all set.
These bearing don't need to be pressed on correct?
No it is an entire wheel hub assembly.
