I'd be very interested in knowing how you happened to write this play, and how you collected all the info. So much music of this time had links to this group. I hope these clips catch on. You deserve much praise for your efforts. The performers also deserve praise. Maybe list them and the part they play in the credits. Tks. Be well.
Great point! I should add credits for the performers! I wrote this about 10 years ago, so it's a bit hazy, but research was a combo of reading biographies and scouring every recording and video clip online I could find. There was also a lot of Denny's storytelling available as he'd written and posted a lot of his point of view. Thanks for the encouragement! All the best to you.

This is so NOT how it happened! Very annoying. Cass did not bring the acid. They had already taken the acid by the time Cass got there. Michelle wasn’t feeling any effects from it at all - until the exact second she opened the door to let Cass in. Then boom! It hit her, and there was Cass, in a white miniskirt, pink angora sweater, white go-go boots and false eyelashes out to here. Now THAT would have been a fun moment to see re-enacted. Not this misrepresentation.
Yeah, what you describe is definitely the story the M's and P's tell in the Behind the Music special about them. Took a little dramatic license here for staging and a sad shortage of go go boots. But thanks for checking it out!
@@jthommusic You're right. There's a woeful lack of go-go boots. You've generously chalked it up to supply chain. I would counter with limited budget for a one weekend run and very large calves on the leading lady ;)
