Man, not only is she more than eloquent, her gift for repartee is so well developed that you almost don't notice how she is dominating the conversation. She leaves you unable to get over on her and puts you at ease while doing it. She's very captivating.

It's super eerie to me how watching her speak it doesn't feel like 50 years ago at all. I think her intelligence and her identity as an outsider made her transcend the way the average celebrity would present themselves at the time, she comes through sounding just like someone from 2024 would, except maybe a slight influence from the transatlantic accent!
Cass really WAS taken from us way too soon! What makes it so sad is that she SURVIVED the '60's unlike some of her colleagues. We can imagine what Jimi and Janis might have done later, but they're preserved in that time period. Cass made it past all that and we got a taste of where she was going in her career and it looked very, very promising.

Mama Cass was a beautiful, kind and SMART women. She is the one that totally made the "Mama and Papas" made the musical group to have made it as a legend and this musical history better.
I am so sorry that she died so young. What a smart, witty and charming person she was, aside from having a wonderful voice. RIP, sweet lady. You are missed.

Cass Elliot truly was a gem. Beautiful, talented, articulate, and acutely aware of the world around her...she could have had her own talk show if she wanted to. Even though she's been gone for decades, Cass Elliot continues to inspire me through her interviews and musical artistry. RIP
