    How do we know parts on gene we don't want to translate, aren't they identical? ATGC

    I just wanted to know why induced stem cells differ from embryonic. Curious if any research still requires embryonic stem cells because they can turn into absolutely anything?

      they differ becuase you need to use OSKM factors in order to induce somatic cells-IPSC. they are basically reprogrammed somatic cells (fibroblasts) which sort of shy away from ethical issues that arise from research with embryonic stem cells
