I broke down and invested in a dark soy, a light soy and a wine you used. Since watching your videos my family has actually enjoyed my attempts at Asian cuisine. I've gotten chow mein noodles noodles from restaurants that had cabbage mixed in. But I never thought about mixing cabbage into fried rice. I've also never thought to use bacon as a meat for fried rice. I'm definitely gonna give this recipe a try.

I do this but with pasta!! I also add chicken gravy to the dish too!! Just makes it more interesting!! LOL!! If you don't have bacon...use leftover silverside or corned beef!! Still does the same job!!

Because soy sauce and salt have different taste, other than being salty.
I never add oil to fry bacon in a frying pan. The fat from the bacon is efficient enough to cook.
