So basically the game is now Kingdom Hearts, complete with much of the lore and story being explained in convenient exposition dumps rather than us actually witnessing it organically.
@@Movel0 I agree that there have been similar issues with the plot since Xeno 1 but it only seems to have escalated. I suppose we have had this possession trope from the start.
@@vinaypatel7159 the lore and story has become as convoluted and contrived as KH. And KH has very much relied on just outright explaining lore rather than showing it organically for much of the series lol.
@SM-ns9ru Xenoblade 3 has pretty much been the only game so far that has had to explain lore in an info dump. Xenoblade 1 and 2 don't really lore dump the player outside of one or two scenes. Even then, a good majority of the context from those scenes has been established and indirectly explained beforehand. The lore dump was mostly there to fill in a gap or two and make sure the player was caught up to speed in case they missed something. Xenoblade 3 was slightly different as it relied a lot more on organic storytelling, but it came at the cost of less substantial lore dumps. So if the player missed something or misinterpreted a scene, they would be completely unaware.
