Good to see you back + safe I guess given the circumstances. On my journey I've ended up working with Blender/Unreal Engine 5. They both have Octane support too.
I want to congratulate you on the quality of your channel. From the first videos on effects and render contests to now, you have proven to be an inspiration. I'm glad I got to greet you at the convention in A Coruña at Mundo Digitales :)
Great to see you back! 😊 If you already have the Clarisse IFX videos and it’s not too much work to release them, it would be really helpful for those still using it. I’m sure a lot of people would love to see the magic behind what you’ve created!
As a RNDR holder, I'm happy about this. I also second your comments on the M3 Max. I switched from a Threadripper 3960x + RTX 3090 + 256GB RAM workstation to the M3 Max Macbook Pro, and it has changed my pro life so much. It's faster, better, quieter, and of course I don't have to deal with Windows BS anymore.
So happy to see you back, i started Houdini earlier this year and was amazed by its possibilities. Also started 3D in 2019 with your tutorials, and now i've been working in the industry for a few years :)
As a 3d artist I love m series macbook pros, I often model in blender and texture in substance and the workflow is so smooth and optimised, still baffles me.
Glad to hear you're back. Your Clarrise tips could still be useful to some people If you can't get virgin in ur area. What is BT saying about your internet? Can't they get you 1 GIG speeds or is that too slow?
This is so awesome! Absolutely loved your creature, such stunning glow effect, and thanks for calling it as it really is - war. Cheers from Ukraine, I'm fan only since 2021, I'll try to achieve something myself, just like you did.
Welcome to the Houdini family! I have also been shocked at the performance by the new MacBooks and not only performance but also incredible battery life for such performance.
Really glad to hear your pushing otoy for desperately required basics for handling large production workflows and density. I use octane full time at my job to render complex engineering/architecture projects and although its gotten better, octane still struggles with stability sometimes when working with huge muli-Gb models out of revit and other AEC apps
Hey, weclome back! Really glad you helped some talented people from Ukraine join your team. Hope you will grow bigger! Also glad you find Solaris as a good substitute. So am I. Trying to learn this new stuff. Seems promising! Looking forward seeing new stuff here! And hello from Kyiv!)
Finally Houdini! nice to see it! You have always inspired me! I was able to get a job thanks to the videos i watched from you when i was young. Let me know if I could ever help you on any project. My work is on my channel! Thank u
Per your M3 Macbook faster than your 32 Core, I agree. Not too long ago, I built a 24 Core Threadripper Beast and now I just dropped the card on a BD790i ITX motherboard with built in CPU that pulls around 32000 on Cinebench 2023 thus slaughtering my beast. I have a spare RTX 3080 I'll use until the 50's come out. Good to see you safe and have fun! no1ukn0
Yes please.. would love to hear your thoughts on future of Mac for professional 3D work! I know you've been using laptop PCs for 3D developments and using the studio machine to render. Thank you!🙂
Good to see you Andrey. I was just thinking of you few days back, I love your videos. They were very informative and inspiring. I'm really surprised from what you said about M3 Max. We really need that video, Will look forward to it
Yeah.. i have to agree.. its network rendering rocks!… i even use my RTX 4080 VR PC as a “EGPU” like render node for my M2 Ultra mac studio machine.. NICE to have all that ram/vram! - and if i need more i can easily just go to the RNDR network without any changes… So.. its a wonderful workflow.. I run the PC headless and don’t even have to touch it. ALSO no need to install any software or plugins on the network nodes. Just add a 10G network card on your local PC’s and add a 2nd dongle for internet on the mac and use its main ethernet at 10G speeds for rendering with a different subnet. Best of both worlds. Nice to see octane having a good moment here!. it really is nice and scaleable and don’t have to pay extra “full seat” fees like with Redshift.. Come one maxon.. cough up a few free render nodes already.. !
In your persuit of improving Octane in Solaris and making RNDR the only choice we need for rendering, please, please give them plenty of FLIP scenes to work with. We need ORBX sequence support on RNDR to stop making these absolutely enormous ORBX files with every frame of a high res FLIP mesh stuffed in there.
I specifically added a river into the project to find "ways". There's nothing we can do with big file sizes, I mean I've made flip sims that are several terabytes in size... But maybe I'll find a substitution or make it less painful. Will see
Blender is epic and moves in correct direction. Definitely recommended. I'm getting too old to "try" and my last resorts are spent on Houdini where I'm going to stay haha. My team is on blender and I'm impressed with everything they're doing
I'd go for Discord not telegram. But each to their own. However the scale is providing versitility to Discord. Just say'in. Love your channel by the way.
Thank you mate. We’ve been on discord previously with patreon integration: terribly inconvenient and overly complicated. Needed something with less management requirements
Are you Ukranian, Belarusian or Russian? You were my inspiration to learn 3D and VFX. Смешно что я переехал с Кубы в Россию научился русский язык и получил очень много знаний и опыта пока работал в AAA gamedev студио в течение 3 года. Yeap that's the power of your youtube channel right there
Scripting isn't coding per say. You can automate a lot of stuff with simple scripts and with chatGPT you can enhance your amateur script knowledge tenfold :)

shocking revelation about that M3 Max. Keen for the proper breakdown
That's good to know dude. I hope we get to know more about the stuff you've been working on and make more videos.
Welcome back and welcome to the Houdini family! Hyped!
As a RNDR holder, I'm happy about this.

Nice to see you back. I'm a bit tired of my PC setup so this is a very interesting find!

Great to your face again 😎The work looks incredible, as does the space. Should have known you’d been super busy.

It's great to see you back. I was even a little worried. I can't wait to see more about what you're up to.
You have a beautifull works art. To know houdini like you demonstrates in the video, its such amazing!

I missed your content.
Hey, best of wishes from Lithuania!
Good to see you again!. When you said Clarisse was discontinued I immediately thought. "You look like a Houdini guy" hahaha
Hooooly shit I love this!
Love the update, love the news on Octane and Houdine. Been wanting to switch to houdini for a while.

Can‘t wait to see how it evolves.
It’s been a while good to see you back
Great to see you back!
Nice to see you back. No Unreal engine?
I tried it, it’s fun, have to be honest 😄 but it doesn’t scale and UI and everything… not my cup of tea yet
@@AndreyLebrov I hear that, it's definitely getting there though. Real time and photorealism will be nuts.
nice to see you back chief!
Thanks for the update. Even though I'm a 3dsMax Vray PhoenixFD user, you always have great information to share.❤
Glad to see you back!! Anyone decrypted/translated the easter egg at the end?
I said "Dmytro, I mentioned you in the vid" haha
Muzhik vernulsya :D Good to see ya back!
Glad you are back, The one and only Andrey.

Just saw the intro and smells like houdini already :D

Hie Andrey. Great stuff. What are your thoughts on Guerilla Render?
Good too see you sir 💪

Welcome back brother
You Back! We missed you!
Have you tried rendering on Blender?
So the MacBook M3 Max is a good recommendation then for a mograph artist working in C4D and learning Houdini?

The 🐐!!!!!!!!!
I MISSED YOU!
What's the song in the end?
Why did you stop using C4D?
The man aged like a fine wine; Or a fine Vodka!
Do you know coding? How do you work in scripts and software development?
Scripting isn't coding per say. You can automate a lot of stuff with simple scripts and with chatGPT you can enhance your amateur script knowledge tenfold :)
Что думаешь про анриал? Как тулс, и для себя?
Анрил по прежнему игрушка, он не скейлится. Для себя 100% прикольное, но весь UI и все... Болезненно
My bro... we all know why you left the UK... and I dont blame you for a minute... anyone sane would do the same ;)
so your intro/outro is a loose interpretation of SimonHolmedals tide sim ? ^^
He consulted me on it when I was curious to recreate the feel ;)

Ага, уже два года обратно )
