Look, I have the Aston Rider mid-engine and I've been using it quite well. I have changed it from my folding 16 wheel to 26 mtb and now into a 24. My husband changes the kit in a few moments by tightening one screw/nut, everything is connected and the screen has a cell phone charger
@@julianv1724 It went faster in reverse so I reversed the wiring on forward reverse switch. It was wired wrong at factory. The wiring was poorly labelled and had to watch various videos to work out which wires were for what.
Sure, 3-speed switch is just to ajust the assist . the controller default iS MID-SPEED。 if you want to get the LOW or Highest Speed , so you need to use the 3-speed funtion.
Arhh bugger thid actually helped me to figure out why mine wasny working don't know why but yeah the electric lock mine didn't come with key ignition throttle so figured out how to by pass it I've built this pretty sick over powered kids huffy green machine drilled out the back axles to 15mm got me self some gokart tires brought a stupid $500 battery it's got a gokart seat and just looses control at like 30 😂 it's an absolute beast then I've got another green machine which was my first inspiration which is just a normal stock pedel one and I cut off the front welded a 26inch mtb forks and got me self them cheap electric wheel conversion kits on ebay fully custom crooked as hell 😂😂 stretched big wheel electric green machine it's called and the other will be called the mean machines haha 😂😂😂 good luck with your projects and good video.😀
I bought one of these and followed these directions and some reason the key doesn't shut it off and the green battery thing is red. I have to unplug it manually and it won't accelerate. I am using a 28000 mah lithium battery and have an inline fuse. Can you help me?
I didn't have the 3 speed switch in the motor kit I bought. Had to order separately then when I plugged it in everything started working. The only thing is the key still doesn't shut it off, I have to manually unplug the battery. Despite that, the razor dirt bike I modified runs great, with the original 72 tooth rear sprocket and a special 24 tooth front I had to modify it goes over 35 mph now. I've rode around for 45 minutes straight and still had juice when I got home
They said that it doesn't matter, but it NEEDS to be 48v, I have ordered a motor for my 1600w which is 2000w. Everything else will stay the same as before.
I have a 2000 Watt hub motor 48 Volt and a 60 Volts 45 amps ESC plus a 60 Volts battery 45 amps and the 48 Volt 2000 Watt hub motor has no problems with the 60 Volts it gets instead of the recommend 48 Volts 😉👍

charger port : is for charger your battery.( but you need one charger port cable. indicator: can use for light , brake light and any ( it only power support)
@@k22496 it depends on what controller your running... If your going off math then a 42amp controller would need a 42ah theoretically to run for one hours if u had a 20ah u would get roughly 30 minutes

swapping any two motor wires will make it turn in the opposite direction. if the controller has reverse it is usually a 3 wire plug. black and 2 other colors. you connect one color to black and its forward, the other color to black and its reverse. others are a 2 wire and you connect the 2 wires together for reverse. colors are usually black red and white or blue

I would like to buy this kit, but I have read that these motors experience a little "cogging" in low RPM riding or take offs. Under load, the cogging causes motor vibrations and makes the ride uncomfortable, but it disappears in high RPMS after take off. Have you experienced cogging in this system? Is there a remedy to reduce or eliminate this condition? Thanks in advance.
Did you managed solve this somehow? I came up with the same conclusion from videos with these motors. When they twist the throttle it's almost nothing-nothing and then bam full speed. Maybe different controller will solve the issue? Thx for respond!

I just got 2 of these motors for a 4x4 cart I am going to build and like you, I think the sprocket is a bit small. I found a 22 tooth one I am going to try to use. Just make sure the borehole is no larger than 10mm. If you want you can buy one with a smaller borehole and just drill it out to 10mm and use the set screws to hold it in place.

I saw the video well. I have a question. Do you really need to have a speed switch (1, 2, 3)? Without a switch, do you always go high speed?
Just keep it on the highest
If you don't use the switch ( disconnected)it's automatically in position 2. So not the lowest level but also not the highest level.

I got it working right now, I don't think I had the 3 speed switch plugged into the right connector

This is a 48V setup. 24V is half of what you need to make this run.
