I met Graham Cole (aka Tony Stamp) & interviewed him for a local radio station in the late 1980's. As Graham & I were walking to where I was going to interview him we past some local Police Officers and we got cheered on by them.... What a great memory that was. Now I work in a large soft furnishings store and bumped, literally into Chris Ellison (aka Frank Burnside) when he was on a shopping trip with his good lady some time in 2019.
My fav actor was Colin Tarrant, Insp Munro, but his suicide death was a bad blow, and I met him in Parramatta, in Sydney many years ago, a real nice bloke, he and Simon Rouse were on a Bill promotion tour.

It's kind of sad in one way, we all grew up with them when they were young and slowly watched them age well the characters who stayed in the bill for a long time. And now the older cast are in their 60s and 70s, a couple in their 80s.

Huw Higginson lives around the corner from me in Sydney, Australia. He’s been in some Aussie dramas over here and I said “ it’s garfield”. (I’m an ex pat)

Don Beech the best, was never fond of Loxton’s attitude but learnt one thing from him “back your mates up” care more about the officers then the badly behaved public, I’d like to be as tall as him
My Mum loved Bill Murray. I saw him in a film from the 60s as a young lad, he was only in it for two seconds. My favourite character was Yvonne, recently seen in that Doctor thing, “This is going to hurt.” with Ben Wishaw.

@@scottsgoingon8806 I disagree. It was a fantastic show in it's prime but had gotten too soapy in the last few years before it started losing ratings . The early years were much grittier and darker.
