I loved this show My sister and I used to watch this every Sunday night. I loved Nick or “Zorba” he was gorgeous and judging by the then and now pics he still is. Great show love ❤️
Wonderful memories of much better times, I loved watching the program on Sunday evenings, I would really love to see reruns of it, thank you so much for sharing this video ❤️👍
Brilliant show, used to put my baby to bed then watch Heartbeat followed by Londons Burning whilst doing my ironing. Dramas nowadays just can’t compare
Such ashame ITV killed this at around series 11 and it just went from bad to worse the final series was painful to watch, they got character/actor selection wrong and the stories were more about love and affairs then firefighting. Such a shame because it was a great programme with characters that complimented eachother, ITV killed a lot of good programmes off around the early 2000s :(
The station move was unavoidable sadly as Blackwall (Or Dockhead as it’s really called) was undergoing a massive refurbishment by the LFB at the time. The station they moved to was Leyton. Totally agree with the scripts though, the last series was dreadful, even the theme tune was awful
Good series with engaging characters and gripping action. When you think of the work that must have gone into creating the spectacular stunts 😮 🔥 🚒 👨🚒 I’ll have to treat myself to the dvds. Even Steven Houghton’s cover of Wind Beneath My Wings was poignant not cheesy cos it tied in with the associated storyline and he was a great singer.
I remember first watching London’s burning when I was about 10, early 90s. It was on ITV at 9pm on a Sunday night. Only 4 channels to watch on tv back then! Also Soldier , Soldier, another good 90s drama. Sadly, they don’t make these programmes anymore, I guess they’ve ran out of new ideas.
I think he doesn’t really continue acting and probably wants his identity kept private as he got into his late 70’s/early 80’s but yes it would have been nice to see him
I've been watching London's Burning from Series 1 onwards here on You Tube. Not the best quality, but better than none at all. I'd just got to Series 8 when, for some unknown reason, You Tube took it off.
The character who played pitbull sadly dies and Maggie-Shirley Greenwood, probably wants to keep her identity more private meaning her face isn’t revealed but yes would have been nice to see her
@@jakefifasquads6651 James Hazeldine died in 2002 yet he is shown. Shirley Greenwood appeared at the opening of of the rebuilt fire station with Katherine Rogers so her face is very much revealed. www.london-fire.gov.uk/media/1397/londons-burning-stars-reopen-frie-station.jpg
I think this was just a list of the characters that played the firefighters rather than extra characters. Arthur also starred with his brother in The Darling Buds of May.
a few there i dont remember. loved LB. a lot of it filmed around where i live. was funny to see them in scenes going towards X, then in the next going the opposite direction. obviously if you didnt know the area, the viewers wouldnt know. michael garner played his part well, as everyone hated poison pearce. ross boatman has been a professional poker player for years now, along with his brother in the hendon mob
Ross now stars in Eastenders. I liked how they developed Garners character, some of the ones listed here, are from the Pilot full length movie from 1986 which spawned the official series that began in 1988.
Clingfilm wasn’t an original at blackwall he was based off borough street clingfilm would take over duties of absences at blackwall and Tates real identity isn’t shared anymore but would have been nice to see him

A show i never missed!, great cast and realistic stories, shame they don't make shows like this any more.
A wonderful TV series. They cannot make them like this anymore! Great characters and writers.
Thanks for showing this ,it bought back such happy memories,my uncle and I loved this and always watched it Sunday nights ,RIP Bayleaf
I met Glen at a horse show event in Braintree many years ago. Such a lovely man and got him to autograph one of my cheques as I had no paper on me.
Loved James Hazeldine as Bayleaf, such a handsome man

RIP Bayleaf you will be missed
Watched them all, really good gritty drama until the second to last and final series.
great memories, I would never go out till I'd seen it, thanks I loved it

Totally agree Joe. When the series moved to a new fire station the scripts seemed to start going down hill.

The best was early to mid 90's. Then new producers, CGI effects and bad story lines. I stopped watching after 1998
Sick note look no different. The actors were outstanding with how they played their parts. They looked so real.
Thanks for the upload, loved this show, Best wishes to yourself, family, friends and fellow subscribers.
Thank you!

Great series was 12 when this came out, great watching with my parents in the eighties.
Absolute classic watched it several times

Legend of a show
I remember London burning and it was my favourite tv program!!!!
Met sean blowers last week. He was heading to Chinese in our village with his brother in law. A very nice chap and stopped for a natter
Samantha Beckinsale, the only reason I watched it when I was younger. Beautiful woman then, aged like a beautiful fine wine.
Also, Londons Burning had very good viewing figures back in the day ! Something like 17 million on a Sunday night.
Takes me back 👌
Why no mention of the first station officer? James Marcus who played Sidney Tat
Correct Suzanne, i remember him from Clockwork Orange!!
@@Lionboy2930 and also starred in the kids tv show Grandad with Clive Dunn

They should make a reboot but it would not be the same without the old characters
you know it'd just be woke crap, and nothing like the original
Whole family loved this
A lot of them look better now,or is it just me getting older ?
I think hey just look good for their ages but everyone does get older so it’s easy to spot a difference in characters
The black actors have aged better.
Poison Pearce now does the guided tours at the new Tottenham stadium
I heard he couldn't find the trophy room 🤔
Zorba the Greek is hansome
No mention of Maggie or Pitbull

Onecof my favourite shows @
Their showing it on drama I think
Awsome drama
James hazeldine passed back in early 2000s
what about Arthur White? He played Maggies husband and is the brother of David Jason?
I think this was just a list of the characters that played the firefighters rather than extra characters. Arthur also starred with his brother in The Darling Buds of May.
What about Craig Fairbrass who played technique 🤔 😳
Went down hill a little when Seaun blowers was kill off. After that didn't want much of it.
his mrs in it was a right nag. ironically appeared in only fools and horses as a barmaid in the nags head
@@leboeuf05 That’s where I have seen her.

Jerome Flynn was in the 1986 London's Burning tv film (pilot) not in the series. Clingfilm and Tate are missing. Otherwise good. RIP James Hazeldine.
Gary McDonald was also not in the series, just the pilot film.

No Craig Fairbrass as Technique???
Or clingfilm
@@ryancooper9863 Nice one!!
What about the lady that ran the mess?
Maggie? If so then I think where she’s got a lot older she probably keeps her identity hidden meaning her face wouldn’t be shown
The man who played Fireman tate was missing
Station Officer Sid Tate missing
Ross Boatman is in EastEnders now Xx
There never seems to be ever any mention of station Officer Tate.
Yea!!! I check to see if anyone else had noticed… what happened to tate?
James Marcus ‘Tate’ is happily retired and stays out of the public eye and has done for many years now.
there was also that blond sub officer around about season 9/10 and the larger black lady the last few series. In fact they missed a few from the last series now like the criminal looking one and the young black guy
Where is Joe Walker
They missed out Sidney tate the og station officer
Where's "Pitbull" ?!
You have missed james marcus aka sidney tate
No Sidney Tate ?
I thought it was good it did go down hill a bit
the guy who pklaye dBilly Ray looks terrible
Great show spoiled by personal storylines and dreadful cgi.
