I really love this house. I love the indoor planter near the front door. I used to see this so often growing up in Southern California. I love the idea of pumping out the wall 4 to 5 feet to create that closet behind the bed. That is brilliant.

We bought a 50s house over twenty years ago. Same question I heard often was "when are you starting demo?" Everyone , including the realtor, said it was a teardown. Now it is the most adorable house on our street. Trying to not fit into any mold or trend often leads us to our authentic style.

This was such a beautiful home tour. She has such an eye for design and perfects the melting of different styles. Loved the shots and background music too, great video production. I could watch these videos all day. Inspires me to have a warm, full of life house like this one day.

I’m a Charlotte Rose cut and put in a vase in Los Angeles decades ago. My husband and I built a home on a stretch of land outside LA in a gated vista community. Georgian Revival with Doric columns, et al. This Lady chose a modern house like those that dot the landscape here, and I chose to build a house, that dot the landscape in the South. But, everything she finds dear…China, silver, crystal, and reds and blues galleries, on and on, are dear to me. Modern, or Classic, the Southern girl has the same sensibilities. Really enjoyed this gracious lady, and her dogs!
Love the colors and texture in this home. A white/cream/gray aesthetic, blank canvas in a house seems so cold to me. This is a home that has a soul. ❤️
Wow, this looks so similar to house I grew up in, same type of architecture, entry doors, fireplace. Big windows, sliders to outside and we too had that slate tile in our entry way. WOW, wish I had that house now, so many memories flooding back.
This house looks like people actually live here. Which a lot of these videos don’t express. Great space and her pattern mixing is masterful. 10 out of 9 stars.

Were the books were...and the big windows😍and the horizontal stripe wallpaper.....she really has a good balanced colour , shape, and structure in here house....🥰 By the way the front door gives a hint of the style inside...loved that to, very strong colourpallet balanced....🙆♀️
She was probably surprised herself HOW amazing the wallpaper in the bedroom turned out. Just looking at it i wouldnt assume the incredible effect it has, of course together with the corresponding lamps etcpp...its overwhelmingly beautiful...it has the ease and joyfulness of a winterwonderland somewhere in switzerland.Light and cozy and uplifting. i woukd never change it either. Its as good as it gets...
