And that, folks, is how the other half lives in NYC! However, there were a lot of perfectly usable ideas, such as hiding the TV in a hutch, using stain treated fabrics, the "palate cleanse" bedroom and GREEN, such a great color to decorate with, it has energy/life but is also peaceful.
This lady has excellent taste. Gramercy Park is a beautiful neighborhood, and this apartment has been lovingly renovated. I would like to have seen more of the kitchen in the video, and also to see her solution for combining the three separate bathroom spaces.
I love how realistic she is about how her home is used. It’s beautiful but durable for her family. Everything is still so classic and balanced. Like warm tea, it is so cozy. This is wonderful.
If I can’t be in my china closet on Gramercy Park, I’m happy CeCe can be! What a wonderful home! Thoughtful, chic, and practical is not an easy feat, this is perfect!

It is lovely and also WASPY.. so WASPY. If you were to come into my home, I would have to say. This is from IKEA. We chose this because it was cheap. The cheap theme continues with items I picked up at T.J Maxx. I picked these colors because that is what T.J Maxx had the most of. My architect was me.. and the guy I hired to do the work because he was cheap due to him being an alcoholic and frequently not showing up for work. Look at the charming errors he made in the tiling because of his inebriation. Ignore how the cabinets touch the door when you open them.. oops. I can't afford to fix it. In fact don't look at the bathrooms as we ran out of money before those got done.
🤣🤣🤣🤣. You’re my kindred spirit! I’ve been remodeling a 1400 sq foot home for 22 years and am still not finished! Was so impressed when the ceilings were painted. Then the maid put a quite visible ding in it! Oh well! Carry and with your projects as you have funding and I’ll do the same!
I can relate. My painter, who has addiction issues, was on his deathbed once a week for six weeks, also coming up with many other inventive excuses for not showing up to work. I ended up having to hire someone else to finish the job. Next month, my floors get refinished by a father-son team who have done well in the past. Wish me luck.
Love it! Her home is so beautiful, fresh and cozy! The park is lovely, I have passed by it in my city travels. I like that it's only for the neighbors, not the general public.
Love it! I feel she's a kindred soul. Not fussy but styled with meaning. Great color choices, calming (sanctuary) bedrooms. Fun artsy items here and there to show humor. Antiques with history. I adore both her Oliver and the two artists drawings of her children. Love is in her home!
I knew I’ve seen this room before! This is featured in Veranda Magazine May-June 2021. I just purchased this magazine because I was so drawn to the green color palette (my favorite color). Absolute stunning!❤❤❤
Hmm, it's hard to believe that anyone was hesitant to buy a Gramercy Park apartment, even with it being a "project." That location is very coveted in NYC, w/exclusive access to the park. That said, whatever the before was, the after/current look of it is beautiful and serene and they just tripled their investment.
I have never seen a gated park. I think nothing is better giving to those in need. I have boughten people’s groceries for them at the store before and it literally makes them cry of happiness. I think a gated park is a crime against humanity, and all things moral.
@@carissafisher7514 your generosity is wonderful. I agree that it is beautiful to give to those in need. However, I don’t think a gated park is a crime against humanity. I’m sure a lot of people in NYC want to be able to let their kids run a bit free without having to worry about some drug addict popping out from behind the bushes and accosting them. You get enough of that behavior on the streets.
@Ceci K it is usually the uncle, a trusted family friend that hurts your kids. It is statistically proven that the people you know, and trust are the ones who will hurt you. It is a misnomer that homeless people are hiding in a back alley to rape you. Most people are homeless because they don’t have family support and most Americans are one paycheck away from homelessness. It is the rich uncle paying for your son’s college you should be worried about molesting your child.
I love it when a home reflects the personality of a person. She can do it easily, of course, but sometimes people find affordable ways too. She considered the dog, which is cool, and made the common areas quite peaceful. Blending or matching the view with the interior is a smart touch. I also liked that she did not make it completely classic ir symmetric- there are some unexpected twists in it.
CeCe you are a natural talent🤍 I love your artwork, it creates the mood in every room and the “ticking on everything “ in your living room was so clever.
fun! elegant and timeless. really beautiful. the house is like a hotel that feels like a home. its inviting and calming, i can imagine the smell of freshness and calmness.
Gorgeous. Thought Bunny Williams, then looked CeCe up and I was right lol... So my only note is that the window treatment in the living room could use a valance, tastefully done of course, like the one in the kitchen but slightly higher to show more of the window. (Maybe another one in the bedroom over the windows, too.) That would give more harmony/unity to the curtains, especially when they're open (which would be most of the time). That would create more of a sense that the park view is enframed, though the view would still be inviting.
