Each claimed ownership to a Torah scroll in the last synagogue of Afghanistan at the time.
They complained to the Taliban authorities, who decided to imprison both.
During their imprisonment, the synagogue was robbed and the Torah scroll was stolen.
The Taliban got so tired of their fighting that they threw them out of jail.

@@I___Am the talmud/gemorah. It’s written in Aramaic, which is essentially Hebrew mixed with Arabic. There are parts of it that are very, very interesting, and have deep meeting, etc., But the majority of it it’s just going back-and-forth on small details. I would definitely check it out though, if I were you.

Levi and Simantov were the last ones to remain in Kabul, which is the story described in this documentary.
