Merry Christmas Tom. Looking forward to seeing more of your builds in 2018 ☺
Merry Christmas Tom, good work as always! 😉
I just want to say thank you so much for all that info in the description. That is a gold mine.
Great update thank you I am fixing to start this kits. This is great to know
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
was hopping for a chop top but im still happy with what this build will turn into
Boy I been watching your channel forever and you my friend are fantastic
"...pretty much just moving my hand around with an airbrush in it..."
😁
Fantastic videos, you really teached me how to start building cars!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!
very nice ,and good painting tips .
thank you
Wow, very cool. Same truck as my Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin RC truck.
I noticed that large seam line on the front fender as well. It almost looks like the mold is not aligning well in that area, and I considered building up that area with filler before sanding to even things out. I notice you didn’t use filler so maybe I’ll just sand it as you did.
Occasionally you use a chrome marker for fine detailing, are they a special marker & can I get black?
Nice 👍🏻👏🏼👍🏻👏🏼👍🏻
Consider it well.
Dat ziet er al lekker uit Tom,ik ben benieuwd of deze net zo mooi wordt als die van Kris.
Beetje vertrouwen mag wel he Patrick XD ;)
can you do a revell man tgx xlx next, it is a big kit but seems really cool
Paper 600 should be also good enough to get rid of molding lines in diecast miniature? I'm thinking about renovation of SIKU's Mercedes-Benz 300TE and 300E so... Thanks in advance for answer.
jup, should be fine
Thanks:)
Awesome kit man, Have fun with it!!
Can i use 500 grid too? Thats the only one i have.
Amaizing work. I am fairly new to getting back to this hobby. What is the purpose of painting silver underneath the white.
Makes the white come out brighter
Where and how can i get my hands on the exact wheels you used, they’re beautiful
They are from scaleproduction. But no longer available
Hi!
Could you do an episode of submitting 100 years of bmw from revell?
So question, would spray paint for models work instead? I do have a compressor for backup in case
Sure
What`s the thinning point for airbrush paint, in my case I use automotive paint so I must thin it, how do I know how much to thin both color and clear? Thanks nice channel!!
Thin it to a milk like thickness
Great video . questions what size adapter do you need for the air brush 1/4 or 1/8 ? have a great Christmas :)
I have no idea what size they are, i got them with my airbrush in a package deal 10 years ago. I think they are from harder & steenbeck
Ah that's ok
nice
New to modelling and wondering why you painted silver before white
To help the white cover better and brighter of a white
can you do like a full on custom restomod/pro touring 1970 camaro ss I am challenging you to a competion
Great stuff. Couple of questions. Firstly, how come you're using the .4 for some things and the .2 for others - when it's all Zero paints, and all the same body item? Secondly, why did you spray the silver layer - isn't is lost under the white and pearl?
Because for some paints you need more paint flow(pimer and clear, for thicker coats) and others you need less paint flow.
to make the white cover faster. and be a brighter white.
OK. Thanks. Is the Silver + White a common thing to do instead of 2 coats of white?
It would be more like 3 or 4, and it still would not be as bright of a white. No idea if others do it. It just works wonders for me
How to get so gooood!?????
Do you prefer white/off-white styrene or do you care?
White, yes
Hi! Just to know but why did you get from 1bar to 1.5bar now please? Have you got better results with paint and clear coat?
I’m still at 1 bar
The Scalemodeling Channel ok ok. On the video it says 1.5 bar but surely a mistake ^^
wyt boi GTAddict indeed it is. Not that it would matter all to much though when painting
Why pearl and diamond clear? Are they different effects?
Yes, the pearl is not a clear, its a transparent pearl coat. The clear makes it glossy, not the pearl
my god.. i really to stop painting because you really make a joke while doing the voice over.. hope in your latest video will do the same.... 🤣🤣🤣
Curious why you used a silver paint only to cover it up with another two coats of white?
To make the white cover easily and turn out brighter without having to spray 8 coats of white.
Ah cool!! Very nice.
I'm planning on painting a white car in the future...look forward to giving this silver coat a try! Thanks for the reply!!
Is the scalemodeler you store??
Yes
Hoezo heb je besloten weer voor wit te gaan en niet een andere kleur?
Omdat ik deze in het wit wilde
The Scalemodeling Channel zal ongetwijfeld gaaf worden!!!!
Hi! Why silver under white? Thank u
To make the white brighter and cover faster
The Scalemodeling Channel ok. I Will try that
Can I ask about a commission build?
I don’t do those anymore
scalemodelling i want to see lamborgini aventador project
This Revell is germany?
USA
It looks like a ZIL 130
1.5 bar is 21psi..... not 14
