I used to have a six samurai deck as a kid and rewatching this brought back the nostalgia, in elementary i defeated everyday almost everyone with my version of the samurai deck by always swarming the field thanks to cards like kizan of whom i had 3 copies kageki and other samurais which also allowed me to summon quickly xyz monsters like number 39,17 etc because i always managed to summon many monsters of the same level thanks to effects of the samurai cards and i also remember using cards like goblindberg or marauding captain which linked pretty well to the samurai deck as they were warrior monsters and they also had the effects of allowing you to special summon other monsters which as well allowed for fast xyz and synchro summons

I can help you with that... Six samurai usually does not brick... My built has 83% consistancy presiding and around 75% consistancy post siding.
You usually need a hand of any two extender to have full combo.
I'll give you test hands tomorrow.
Divine sword is know banned so whatelse do we use now as an alternative

Please do a Test hand video. I used to play Six Sams way back when Shaddoll/Tellar/Burning where the meta and would love to learn all the combos using all those new cards
Very helpful I might experiment with so.e of those ratios! I'm surprised no Borrel or Access Code Talker for a Rank 4 but I'm sure if you minus a saryuja, it'll be ok
Usually you wont get to link 4 going second if you opponent has a competent negate board... And if he does not put enough negates you can just loop mizuho, pop everything and go for an otk with gate using the first eff to push your guys to like infinite attack
I think I have everything I need for this deck just sitting in a box… I think I might try it out
For those wondering why Shinai special summons himself when you control Mizuho & vice versa. It's cause in the Six Samurai lore (Yes this archetype has lore based on the life of Oda Nobunaga) the two of them are actually married. Also the most amusing thing about Secret Six Samurai Hatsune is that there's something poking out that I'm shocked the TCG censors didn't notice (I won't say what it is cause I want this comment to stay visible but if you look close enough at her art you'll see it) Also I may try to take out a copy or two of Grandmaster cause. I personally only play cards you can only control 1 of at 1 (Frightfur Tiger is another example) For maybe a copy or two of Synchro Boost to both help with Isolde and make it more consistently possible to go into Bahamut Shark and Toad.

I have not played ygo for over ten years now. But now I started to play Master Duels and as I got REALLY overwhelmed by all those new cards with whole essays of texts I was so happy to find the booster with the Six Samurai in it! An archetype I still know about! 😄
Therefore I am looking for some decklists and advice.
But according to your video I guess the old school Six Samurai are not good anymore?
Master duel has Saryuja at 1 so the deck is kinda dead unless you open Dojo or other extenders. But I'm gonna continue to try because I love Six sams as well. But I CAN get 5+ negates in 1 turn if I open dojo and 2 other sams at the very least.

You mean Shiens Dojo?
@@Ronald_Ruck Yeah. The only good hands are shien's dojo and 2 other monsters that can summon themselves. Or if you draw kizaru kageki then you don't need to have dojo in hand.
in master duel you can make rhongo, which is a REALLY good card. six samurai can make this card easily and add bamboozle gossip shadow to give it 5 xyz material. All you need is 2 level 4 monsters and 2 level 3 monsters and you have probably won

I had no clue Sam were still relevant. I had a near unstoppable deck back in the day shortly before pendulum cards came into play. This warms my heart that they are still alive and thriving!
I'm pretty sure six sams are a rogue strategy so technically not relevant but rogue in current yugioh is still very powerful
@@eleanordawes8634 yo I been out the game so long I don't know. Even before I wasn't all hardcore into it. Played at local card shops here and there handful of times. I just know after awhile I stopped playing because the game felt like pay to win when those star wars type cards came around. Felt like if I wanted to get any more competitive I had to chalk out some big bucks to get certain cards. So I bailed lol but I am looking to get back into it as a casual player or if anything collecting cards. The artwork on them these days is too hard to resist alone.
@@jkbnoroshin theses days it's mostly the staple cards that go in every deck cost big money and most of them have alternatives you can make a relatively good deck for less then 50 quid it's only expensive if you really want to play the meta tell me do you prefer combo decks or control decks a budget combo deck would be adamancipator since the reprints its about 20 quid for the core and adamancipator was a meta deck for a while and a budget control would be eldlich or prank kids both these deck cores should run you 50 or less then add some of the cheaper staples and you might top a locals
@@eleanordawes8634 Well with Six Sam in had some decent combos. Always drew a good hand. Always was able to bust out my bigger monsters and disable my opponents effects, traps, and spells. Or redirect them. I called it a lockdown deck then. Not sure what that is called these days lol
@@jkbnoroshin well if it summons a bunch in a turn its combo if it walls up with traps and the like its control usually both types of players look down on each other but its usually combo that comes out on top six sam would be classified as a very explosive combo deck but sounds like you used it in a similar way to a control deck

Honestly I think it's tri-brigade currently but we will see of it stays after the list. Might change to swordsoul.

Have I heard on your comment about your deck profile have no trap, so did you encounter any six samurai decks with trap cards or know some six samurai player have some? 2. Can gateway of the six add back to the extra deck six samurai monsters from extra decks?

What about Slifer the Sky Dragon?😂 I side deck him for an OTK. Establish the Infinite Loop with Battle Shogun Shien and Temple of the Six on the field. Basically fill your hand with all your Sams & Summon Slifer from Saryuja and attack for the win. Obviously you’ll have some negates on the field from your extra deck

They need to create more Extra Deck Six Samurai monsters, at least for the Legendary Six Samurai like Link monsters with also the other extra deck types monsters like fusion and XYZ monsters. At least if Legendary Six Samurai Shi En is going to be the only Extra Deck monster for the Legendary Six Samurai, Konami needs to at least create a Assault Mode version of Legendary Six Samurai Shi En. Is Legendary Secret of the Six Samurai going to be remade for the deck like Spirit of the Six Samurai who became Legendary Six Samurai Shinai?

If an assault mode version was made I doubt it would be used and they're done making legendary six samurai cards at this point they've been replaced by the secret six samurai

I cut the united out for dark rulers no more, great tech card going 2nd as it's a combo deck and u actually wanna be able to play the game

I'm a Six sam main, sadly...the deck is not very strong. Specially in master duel, because we only get 1 Saryuja. You kinda have to open dojo and 2 other sams or you don't have a play.

I wish this deck had a good green samurai that looks like zoro from one piece. My friend has his yosenju deck that has a card that looks like sanji.

Downer Magician requires 2 lvl 4 Spellcasters but all your cards are Warriors so how do you get it out
You can use an xyz with lower rank. I usually play number 49: fortune tune, or leviair the sea dragon.

Using its ability while it is in the extra deck (Once per turn, if an Xyz Monster battled this turn, you can also Xyz Summon "Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder" by using 1 Xyz Monster you control as material.) So as long as your Xyz monster attacked this turn, main phase 2 you can xyz summon sky thunder onto a xyz monster you control.

Not currently, you could always check out the six samurai ftk test hand video I have to see how the cards work.
There are two things I dislike about Six Sam decks: 1. The deck burns through easily. 30 cards in one turn sucks, even if your ending board kills the opponent turn 3.
2. I am looking forward to the test hands of this, DaD, because this deck takes too long to play. Six Sam boards average 3-6 minutes to play. And if you play Legacy of the Duelist, you will run out of time.
This version of six sams doesn't kill your oppt turn 3 it's basically an ftk. You set up so many negates your oppt can not play the game on their turn. At that point most people scoop. Also 3-6mins is nothing compared to the 20mins decks like dragon link, rockybois, drytron, etc decks can do. I've lost in time more against them then I've won in time do to six sams. Sam's biggest problem is handtraping the normal summon/ ashing at the right time/ droll/ going 2nd against any negates. Decks fragile.

this built is able to ftk , you need gagaga cowboy in the extra deck as well of trishula ,degusto emeral and omega

And what would happen if it went to 3?
The end boards / FTKs stay the same. But opening Gateway is very VERY strong since it allows you to extend and search. So the deck would get a lot more consistent.

People are worried about the wrong thing when it comes to Master duel. Just use Sword of deep-seated problem solved. The real problem that makes this deck trash in Master duel is the fact we only get 1 Saryuja..kinda hard to play without the 2nd one. You're kinda done if you don't draw your other extenders or Dojo. It's a shame. I'm a six sam main and I tried so hard to make the deck work in the game. But you NEED the 2nd Saryu..sadage.
