@@Darkslayer1993ive seen those videos with the infinite air judgement cuts and those are crazy! Honestly i attempted it and the most ive done without touching the ground was 9. Its so hard but yeah you're not wrong about how it just shreds enemies

Vergil simply is more proficient with it while Dante doesnt know how to properly perform the move The name "Judgment Cut" is a LOCALIZATION that has nothing to do with the original japanese name, which is 次元斬(Dimension Slash)
Another thing about when Dante weilds Yamato. It’s attacks charges the DT gauge faster than his other weapons like when Vergil wielded it in DMC3:SE. However for Vergil in DMC4:SE, his Yamato doesn’t have the fast DT charge bonus like in 3.

Dante's is in a wider area and slower, Vergil's is much more controlled and fast due to his mastery with it.
Vergil has had a lifetime with his blade. Dante can't just pick it up yet gotta give em points, at least he tried 🤣 W for Vergil

Dante has less control, vergil concentrates all the cuts faster in a specific area.
That’s primarily due to gameplay, cutscene wise the sons of Sparda pretty much have mastery over any weapon they find.
