I adore your channel and am in awe of your constant supply of new patterns! Currently I only have a size 4mm and 6mm crochet hook with me on campus -- if you could provide a pattern which uses either or both of these sizes I would be really thankful!
Ohhhh We have a bunch for both hooks! The one that we just posted today was a 6 mm hook. 😊 But I will say that most of our patterns can be adjusted to either hook size, just make sure the measurements are the same. Wooow ur dress is soooooo lovely!!!! I have a question though worsted weight yarn (#4) looks so big for me u think its possible to use 1 weight yarn less?
Girl, you make the cutest stuff!! I'm sooooo excited to have found you!! Keep up the wonderful job!! Could you please do a v neck sweater?? Tyia☮❤🙂 ☮❤🙂
Yayyyy! I love this tutorial. I'm currently following along and I am fairly new to crochet. How do I know when to stop crocheting the dress block? Do I just hold it up to myself until it cover my body from left to right?
Hi Shania! Thanks for reaching out! Yes make sure it can comfortably stretch over your whole body and then you stop. 😁 And stitch markers are necessary, just there to help keep numbers and rows accounted for? And unfortunately since this is an older video there is no written pattern for it.
@@TCDDIY Okay, thank you! I think I can follow along. Thank you so much for responding if I get stuck again, Im going to reach out! I love your channel.
Hi! Happy New year! Would a back loop single crochet work instead of the back loop split stitch (which is tedious and kills my fingers!)? I am making a very long version and I am hoping a less painful stitch could work:) Thank you!
Hi! Unfortunately, back loop single crochet doesn't give the same elasticity as back loop slip stitches so the only stich that I can recommend would be slip stitches.
What stitch do you recommend to substitute slip stitch for the body part? I’m making in a very fine yarn (DK light) in burgundy color, so slip stitch is killing my eyes and will take forever to finish since I want the length to pass my knees. Thank youuuu
Hiii I was wondering what other colors do you think would look great with this dress?? I was thinking of white or red but I'm not sure... Thankyou for this amazing video btw! Loveee your channel!! Lots of love from indonesia❤️❤️
Hi I really want to make this dress but I’m finding the slip stick very hard I was wondering if I could use a different stitch and which one u would recommend. Thx xx
Hi! Slip stitches would be the best because it's gives the most elasticity, but if need be I'd suggest back loop single crochets. Just keep putting it up to yourself while stretching it so you don't make it too big. 😊
Yay new video from you :D ,, we are lucky wooopy :DDDDDD Btw, What does the T in TCD stand for? I've been curious and not sure if I did miss the part if you ever mentioned it :3
King winter? Is that a yarn? But either way, yes you can. This dress is very easy to make and as long as you keep up with the measurements you can use any yarn. 😊
This in a A line design would be so pretty! I'd feel like a disney princess for sure! Unfortunately I don't have that design, but if you'd like to make one id be happy to help! 🙌
So being small breasted was it hard to keep up? Like, did you have to keep tension in your arms so the dress would stay? I asks because crochet usually doesn’t stretch so much and with this style dress it would normally stretch.. just curious about the fit of the dress to sum all that up 🤣💗 thank you so much for your crochet videos and designs
Thank you for showing love and leaving us a comment! It really helps us out and we appreciate it! So about my boobs.. 😂 JK. It was super easy to keep up actually. The dress was tight so it hugged my chest, same with the arms and I actually added a drawstring underneath the flap as an extra security measure, but I honestly didn't need it with this dress. Yeah, doing this with back look slip stitches is what made it stretch for the look we were going for. 😁
Depends on how far long you are. It definitely has good stretch to it thanks to the back loop slip stitches, but I don't believe it can stretch too too far without you needing to add extra chains for the length. Hope this helps!
@@dianahanna1432 Hi Diana! Yes, it shrinks a bit cause of the slip stitches. If you put in on it may stretch out a little more, but you didn't do anything wrong. 😊

1 inch =2.5 cms. 4 inches = 10 cms . 1 foot = 30 cms. It is easier to use the metric system than imperial.

Hmmm, probably, but then you'd have to worry about decreasing and increasing since it's a bodycon dress. It's possible though. 😊

This dress is for a size small and I used a skein and a half caron one pound yarn. 😁

You could knit the bottom half of the dress and I think it would work up so much faster. Slip stitching takes an eternity.
