Not in the house. But, point taken and I agree. People are hung up on lack of proof that bullying occurred, but it’s irrelevant. If someone THOUGHT bullying was a factor in her death…there is a revenge motive present.

Don't know who said it as I've watched so many channels but one of the experts said they had a case where the perp wore Walmart bags over their shoes to commit the crime and took them off before exiting. Or suggested shoes could gave been taken off before starting the attack and putting them on afterwards.
What does a blood trail matter if the killer walked away unseen. Really, the killer was not standing in blood as he likely didn’t spend much time in the house after the attacks.
Who says he didn’t leave a blood trail? Of course he did, why do you think there was so much LE activity at night? They know how he got in who he killed first and last and how he got out. We just don’t know, as it should be.
Most of the house won't have blood. When they say blood everywhere that's exaggerated. The average human has 1.5 gallons of blood. He probably just went into the kitchen and had a new outfit ready to go. They say they were attacked in their rooms so only the rooms will have significant amounts of blood.

I worked with Forensic patients in a Case Manager position and nothing surprised me. Some days I had flight ,fight and freeze all day.. In my opinion, she was very unprofessional. She should not have given any crime details. The one thing I can say for the cops there is that they are keeping their mouths shut!
@@ButtercupAngel another guest in here said she's a criminal defence attorney in Moscow and she gained her position as coroner by being voted in. I think its grossly disrespectful to the victims and their families to speak in such detail and I'm sure it could hinder the investigation because there's some things only LE and the perpetrator need to know so they are 100% sure they've got the right madman.
Do you know if tracking dogs were used to try to pick up the killer's scent and path of escape? I'm not sure if that would even work, but I was wondering if it was attempted? Or if it could've led to a home or where a car was parked.
I don't think it works that way I assume they would need a scent to follow like a article of clothing or something that's hundred percent from the killer to follow.
To use tracking dogs would need something for them to smell like that of a person to follower, so many people there way to much for any one smell to stick out to the dogs, J/S
There are specially trained tracking dogs that would follow a blood scent trail and this killer surely left one. There was a brief clip of LE early on where there was a shot of a dog sniffing along the chainlink fence so I think they may have done some but obviously not any trained tracking dogs
I doubt this is first time kill for the perpetrator. This has many components of a planned, very well calculated kill. To stab to death four people, and flee the home undetected, while on the loose a month later is unlikely the work of a novice killer.
Agree they seem too similar. Also, many experts aren’t identifying that the perp could have access to a bazooka but prefers the knife. This perp is laser focused on stealth AND not getting caught by making undue noise(gun). He chooses his targets(house) very carefully because he wants to kill and have a clean sneaky unseen getaway. My favorite question is how he came upon this house. He definitely saw it at night to see that there were no floodlights or cameras. If it’s a SK then I think he cruises around in both daylight and nighttime when looking for a target of opportunity. It’s just un fathomable to think this wasn’t his first murder. Until the cops prove otherwise, to me it’s a SK.
Yes the victim was Travis Juetten his mother reached out with the possibility that it's connected. Almost everything matches from method of entry murder and time. The dates also are weird being the 13th. He lived in Oregon but he wasn't a sexy looking college girl so no outside agency gave a fuck. Travis wife lived after being stabbed 19 times and they also had a friend in the house who woke up and called the police. I would like to think alot of answers to this are in Silverton Oregon.
I think the descriptions from all of your guests have labeled a couple of people very close to the 4. I have a guess that LE already have an narrowed idea of who committed this crime and are just gathering as much evidence for a conviction. My opinion.
Surviving the ADVERTISEMENTS is the biggest challenge on this channel. Five long ads coming in the first ten minutes renders this great content essentially unwatchable.
Your show is great and you ask the best questions! It’s so smart and I learn so much from you and all your talented quests. I was curious about something you brought up. You mentioned that dog that was skinned but there was a dog in the house and nothing happened to it?? We know the killer was cold and heartless. How does that make any sense? I don’t think the dog belonged to the girls on the first floor. Where was the dog found and what about the barking?
Campers and bushcrafters also sometimes use big knifes. The KA-BAR is often used as a utility knife for those purposes. Processing fire wood making shelters , striking a spark on carbon steel blade etc. TH-cam is full of such videos. Entire channels. Very common knife sold everywhere.
Telling you it’s Inan Harsh. He’s a chef (familiar with knives) also a felon (can’t own firearm) has changed his statement, loner, also lives very nearby. Look into him.
I think they are to quickly discounting the serial killer option here. It very well could be the first murders of a budding serial killer. BTK's first attack he only planned to kill one person but planned poorly and ended up killing multiple because there were more in the house than he expected. All of these girls were all over social media and Instagram so someone could have been digitally stalking one or more for months.
I watched an interview with a neighbor who delivers for grub hub. He said that there are “many” doorbell ring cameras in that area around the house. Maybe they already have footage of the car in the immediate area. So the gas station video may just be “more” video
Hi Mama G. Many people went out and got ring installed after this horrendous crime. One next door neighbor had a surveillance camera. There are no safe places anymore.
If you, as the content creator on TH-cam, sees suspicious comments, do you have a protocol to follow to coordinate with or report to LE? I suppose you cant answer this here, but I sure hope there is a way, because its a good bet the perp is watching TH-cam, etc., and perhaps commenting.
With the strength required to stab to death 4 people, is it possible the killer was high on meth or a similar drug that gives a person super high strength? I cannot imagine the fortitude it would take to kill 4 people in this manner.
Strength is irrelevant women stab stronger males to death all the time the most recent example being Courtney clenney so you don't have to be a male or in a drug craze. You also have to remember as blood loss begins to flow your victim it's literally losing strength and the closer they get to hypovolemic shock their mental status begins to decrease . You can probably stab someone 4 times while their asleep before they even get a chance to fight back.
A chronic meth addict who is high is capable of such savagery. From living in an area where, in recent years, its use has become widespread and not just contained to more rural areas anymore, its become a serious issue and makes the user feel invincible like superman while under the influence. I have lived in a college town for 42 years and even college graduates have done the unthinkable under its influence.
It is despicable to question the father of a victim especially when he obviously was not even in the same county. He is grieving and in the anger stage. Period ....the public servant that suggested that should be ignored and shamed for calling himself a servant of the nation when he is really a public servant...nothing more.
Do you know the father personally and if so were you with him 24/7 during the timeframe of the murder?? If not then your opinion is based on assumptions and not fact. Think a lot of folks find the fathers comments about Moscow law enforcement to be highly offensive and outta line. The father needs to show respect to receive respect and from his news interviews he's not.
But there are two cases that are very similar from the same general region since 2020. One murder in June 2020 of a middle aged woman who was sleeping and stabbed to death around 3am while she slept. No one ever caught. Then a year later a couple attacked at around 3am while they slept. The man was stabbed to death and the woman miraculously survived approximately 19 stab wounds. The middle aged woman I believe lived in Washington and the couple was from Oregon. Not far apart. Now this. Yes a bit further but same region. Seems to be a rare MO and they’re very similar. Cops said no evidence but doesn’t mean they’re not linked. That to me needs to be looked into which I’m sure it is. Why isn’t that being talked about more? Strange to me.
Any chance Ethan or one of the girls actually owned the knife (murder weapon) used in their murder? Has that been ruled out? What if the murderer stopped by to see one of them, then things turned sour, and the murderer grabbed the knife to attack? It has just seems as though the four were unlikely murder victims. I’m having a hard time thinking this was well planned, or planned for a while. This is especially true if the white Hyundai Elantra was ‘the getaway vehicle’. Probably very unlikely, but it struck me.
John Jack Showalter fits the profile he apparently took a 5 hour drive afterwards who would do that unless you had to get out of area he had a place down the road he should have stayed there but was worried cops would find these kids sooner than they did he wanted to get to family camp where there's knives and blood already he could blend it all in and if cops come up there his clothes could seem like he killed a deer or whatever
In this case the gamer discussion is misplaced. The level of effort needed to pull a virtual trigger is pretty close to that needed to pull an actual trigger, but the level of effort to kill with a knife is so vastly different that simply being desensitized just isn't enough.
As an avid true crime sleuth I really appreciate your channel and coverage of current true crime events including this horrific quadruple murder in Idaho, however out of all the TH-cam content makers I find your channel to be flooded with adverts every 2 to 3 minutes, quite excessive, I normally allow the ads to run so as to support the channels, however in your case the excessive amount of ads has really put me off watching your content. I understand that’s one of the ways the make money, but this is truly excessive on your channel.
Once again the Goncalves are constantly speaking of nature of the crimes, I have been listening to a lot of the interviews One really stood out that was on Fox shortly after the incident, The inconsistent of how the mother was talking very very fast said they were going to see their daughter next week for her birthday, funny just prior to that statement they were all together that week and rambling on about the new car that was just purchased. That is very interesting 🤔🤔
A mother who lost her daughter talking very very fast as you say, soon after the incident, and that makes your antennas go up? Saying one thing then another you noticed? Her daughter was just murdered. Do you think you would be calm and level headed if you were in her shoes? No disrespect intended towards you. I’m asking you so perhaps you can think about it from another point of view.
In regard to the evolution of crime in the modern age... Someone needs to do a show where they explore the contribution of INCEL sub-culture in incubating sadist misogynists and the potential for INCELS to increasingly play a role in crimes such as this one.
I was surprized how very chipper, almost a matter of fact xena's mother was, a vlog dedicated to the street stated that i believe zena's mom had been arrested for drug possession before the killings., how unbelievable.
THIS CASE IS SO TWISTED.ALOT OF EVIDENCE,DNA,BODILY WENT OVER BY FORENSIC PATHOLOGISTS &DETECTIVES.THERE HAD TO BE CLOSE TO A BREAK IN THE CASE.EITHER HE WILL STRIKE AGAIN OR STUMBLE AND BE CAUGHT
After I heard how the girls had bullied and harrased their former roommate. Yeah. Be nice folks...never know who youre pissing off. That girl has family, friends, exbfs, etc. Just be nice.
My father was a Holocaust Survivor ❤ Love your show and great guests. This is buy far the saddest case because we are seeing these parents grieve. It’s horrible pain to overcome I don’t think you can ever heal from such sadness.
Thank you so much for having these 2 men on. It has literally taken all the strength that I have to not just scream because of all of these ppl throwing all of this pressure on these Police. It's been relentless, and it's been absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. Ppl sitting in their living rooms online bashing these Police when they have no clue as to the massive amount of evidence, leads, tips, information that they have to go through. This is not some easy task where they can wave a wand and everything is done and sewn up in a day. The media has been so stupid in their coverage of this case. Just wanting to bash the police, as if any of these media ppl have a clue on what a quadruple homicide investigation entails. These men are telling the truth here and ppl need to listen and stop pressuring and bad mouthing these Police. They are working their butts off on this case! They are not magicians and ppl expecting them to be need to sit down and zip it! It's going to take time! That's just reality and it should have been common sense! But it seems we have an entire very spoiled entitled population who just cannot handle reality. Sucks to be them. Because this case is going to take as long as it takes.
He could have taken a change of clothes with him, he seems to be a very organised killer. There's also been talk that he may have been in the house before they returned home. He's a watcher so I hope they've thoroughly checked that tree line.
Xana Kerdoodle’s mother stated she thinks Xana and Ethan went to a bar after the short time at the frat party. Also, Xana’s father had been to the house a couple of weeks before the murders to ‘fix, change’ the locks on the doors. I do believe it’s a 20s guy who has had some kind of contact w/ victims(s) has experience killing animals… a loner w/ small circle of friends. Weird, strange an oddball. I also believe he is right there in sight and is reliving the killings by watching, listening to everything that is televised about the murders. He is really proud of himself to have ‘gotten away’ w/ this. The longer this goes on w/o a suspect( or so he believes) the more excited it gets. This was very well planned and he has never felt more important in his life!
Start looking for the quiet helpful guy that learned how to “fake” emotions and sincerity, For god sakes you are in Idaho it’s 13 degrees EVERYBODY is wearing gloves he could have also wore butcher gloves. Unless you noticed him right after the killing he has calmed down and assimilated BACK into his community, he lives there always has.
Look harder at the house witnesses and the dude they called to come over before they called the cops!!! THERE'S SOMETHING FISHY WITH THAT STORY!!! YOU CALL THE COPS FIRST!!!
LE need to look into the skinned dog and bunnie. If true, it could be very significant seeing how it happend so close to town. Its def an act thats at least psychologically related to the murders. How many psychis like that live in a couple mike radius? I mean, it really is pissible to be tge same person.
One reason people might have a large hunting knife could be, as ya'll mentioned, hunting, fishing, police, or trades people, but I think you also need to look at ex-military. Lot's of us kept the knives we were issued; they are keepsakes from a time that was important to us...just a thought.
Joel- You are a very talented journalist and I just found your channel because of the Idaho murders. I got my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies- Psychology, Sociology and Social Work. While I attribute all of that understanding and interest to making me a top performer in sales/management for many years, I am going back to college to get my Masters in Psych or possibly Social Work because helping others is my true passion. I cannot wait to see your mother on here as well as she has many years of experience and an MSW in the field. You have the most amazing, experienced guests on your channel. I think college professors should recommend students on an academic, learning level subscribe to your channel/Patreon!
In the end no one is going to be surprised about who did it. How the evidence is tied together will be the most interesting thing that will surprise everyone
I'm thinking it's someone that lives very close. I don't think he got in a car. I think he ran straight to his home which is feet from the killings. He's not a dummy he is a person that looks normal. He has a jealous beyond the norm. That's my opinion. Hope they catch him soon. Before another woman rejects him.

They didn’t use dogs on the scene
There are specially trained tracking dogs that would follow a blood scent trail and this killer surely left one. There was a brief clip of LE early on where there was a shot of a dog sniffing along the chainlink fence so I think they may have done some but obviously not any trained tracking dogs
@@susanohnhaus611 your probably right I highly doubt a small department has those kind of dogs ready to go at any moment though.
Great Channel, excellent panel🙏👍🙏 Greetings from Norway 🇳🇴
Excellent indeed. Greetings from Finland.
Awesome replay ! Thank you STS 😘
The host delivers his questions to both guests in a balanced respectable cmanner. Great job
I doubt this is first time kill for the perpetrator.
This has many components of a planned, very well calculated kill. To stab to death four people, and flee the home undetected, while on the loose a month later is unlikely the work of a novice killer.
What about the other murders that occurred on the 13th that also involved one or more victims stabbed in their sleep?

Are you aware of this murder as well?
@@captaincrunch1707 it makes me wonder if this is a serial killer? Or did someone or someone's copycat this?
Thank you gentlemen 🙏💙🙏
These guys are so real
Just want to say yours has got to be the best analysis of this horrific crime.
Thank TH-cam for that.
I just don't think they're used to having press conferences, hence not having them live. They don't want to compromise the investigation
Just discovered and subscribed to your channel today. I've binged watched for hours today. Fantastic guess! ✌️
Very intelligent & reasonable info, questions & examples given to back up & explain concepts shared. Ty all 3 of you, Gents!+
Great questioning & Great guest. Thanks
This channel turned on the super ad function. Made sure to show us all the ads
I'm sick of all the ads
He keeps having different guests on asking the same questions. Exploiting this story. I swear TH-cam is anything for views content. It's sad.
Telling you it’s Inan Harsh. He’s a chef (familiar with knives) also a felon (can’t own firearm) has changed his statement, loner, also lives very nearby. Look into him.
He's sketchy a f. I don't know if he did it but I'd bet major jack that junkie's dealing again.
I don’t know. It’s Jack Showalter, then it’s Jack Duclos, now it’s Elan? Changes every week
Love y show.. u have best guests and u are great interviewer...
Is is true that one or more had _Only Fans_ accounts? They certainly took a lot of photos of themselves pressing up against other females.
Your comments will make more sense when you learn the difference between to and too!
Wow, I totally agree....you and your guests are the most professional! I have been following this horrible tragedy. You guys are awesome!
Yes , exactly right and the gas station video may not even be the Hyundai Elantra .
Great show and panel.
No need for drugs, adrenaline would probably be enough
That makes a lot of sense.
Psychopaths don't need drugs, Ted Bundy, Chandler Halderson, many more never used drugs to commit their crimes
Hunters don't prefer K-BAR knives, it would be someone who couldn't get a permit for a gun.
That shows how much this was thought out prior....how is there no bloody footprints leading outside ?
Change of shoes, wore shoe covers, or never left the house.
Detective Ken Mains explains so many things, I think he is great, you should check him out.
Most likely but that would not be divulged
Same question I have
I think he wanted to kill the two girls and Ethan heard noise on way out then he had to get those two
It is despicable to question the father of a victim especially when he obviously was not even in the same county.
Some of you have thought way too hard into this ... smh
Ethan is a triplet, so you'd think his brothers would know, huh?
Exactly. This guy is a Jack the Ripper type. I'm thinking some sort of rural loner who came into town to kill for sport.
@@browngreen933 My money's on someone spun on mdma or meth.
Excellent guests!
Enjoy your show, any chance you can get John Walsh on your show? I have yet to hear his views on this story 👍
The killer has changed the way he lives his life, look for those changes
In regard to the evolution of crime in the modern age... Someone needs to do a show where they explore the contribution of INCEL sub-culture in incubating sadist misogynists and the potential for INCELS to increasingly play a role in crimes such as this one.
Yes with video games playing a major part in the evolution of crimes and the age at which they are committed
My father was a Holocaust Survivor ❤
Love your show and great guests.
This is buy far the saddest case because we are seeing these parents grieve. It’s horrible pain to overcome I don’t think you can ever heal from such sadness.
The average time turn around for DNA evidence in Idaho is 89 days. Ancestral DNA takes a lot of work!
No one has said how the murderer exited without a shred of blood or footprints with blood anywhere…this seems unbelievable……
He could have taken a change of clothes with him, he seems to be a very organised killer. There's also been talk that he may have been in the house before they returned home. He's a watcher so I hope they've thoroughly checked that tree line.
Hunting and video games? hard to take this very seriously.
Please don’t start blaming the Dad!! If my child was murdered like his, I would be hell to deal with!
Really? Tell me without telling me...
Awesome show, dude.your experts satisfy my curiosity
I appreciate that!
I’m really glad you don’t keep rolling with negativity and doubt. !!
Why would the killer park rt in front of the house if committing something like this..?? Wouldn't make sense
Look harder at the house witnesses and the dude they called to come over before they called the cops!!! THERE'S SOMETHING FISHY WITH THAT STORY!!! YOU CALL THE COPS FIRST!!!
I really wish people would stop sort of accusing Kaylee’s Dad! He didn’t have anything to do with it! Sheesh!
LE need to look into the skinned dog and bunnie. If true, it could be very significant seeing how it happend so close to town. Its def an act thats at least psychologically related to the murders. How many psychis like that live in a couple mike radius? I mean, it really is pissible to be tge same person.
I am 99.9% sure the killer was the one who killed that dog.
One reason people might have a large hunting knife could be, as ya'll mentioned, hunting, fishing, police, or trades people, but I think you also need to look at ex-military. Lot's of us kept the knives we were issued; they are keepsakes from a time that was important to us...just a thought.
Good panel. So to the one guest' comment, police departments are above criticism or scrutiny? Tell that to the residents of Uvalde , TX.
Thank you

Wow, such a nice comment. Really appreciate it.
In the end no one is going to be surprised about who did it. How the evidence is tied together will be the most interesting thing that will surprise everyone
How can it be determined by the stab wounds if the murderer was left or right handed?
Think about it. You'll get it.
If the white car and bodycam footage had any significance to the case, LE would never have made any of this information available.
