Holly stone does keep improving their drones. I remember the H S 700. It had a little box camera that was static"" no gimble "" dial , and the props were not foldable, and no bottom sensor. . So at least they keep making them better, and your right they do have very good support.

I have 2 HS drones and I gotta say, for an "entry level drone", they are pretty nice and very reliable. You get a lot of quality for the money.

Just this week I started researching which drone to buy for a very specific video shoot. Your videos have been very helpful. You actually seem to be aware of what types of questions people have and what they're hoping to gain from your videos. Hi, Captain Drone In 2023 ( 10 Years Now In The Business,) Keep Going, Have Bought This Drone For Family Member. . More Aerodynamic (Nippy) Lighter In Weight, Battery Tech Better Than HS-720E. Connection Seems Very Solid On This Drone, Fun Flying Machine. I Still Have My (SPARK) Fun Too , This One Is Bigger In Size ( 377 Gram) But On The Same Sort Of Theme. Also (G/V/MONEY.) Bad Weather In The UK Is Still Continuing Since Before Xmas. It Is Very Frustrating Being Locked In All This Time, Just Wind And Rain.. Thanks.
Thanks again cap for the channel and going out in the cold for us. You picked up on the 3 axis bloop. I had an HS700 drone a few years back and as my 2nd drone and it served me well. Had a few issues with the remote and my buddy had issues with his camera. Like most drone cust service it was sending emails back and forth with pics, but they did replace both those items for us. The 2 axis gimble is still better then the older fixed cameras, but don't expect to get the stability of a 3 axis drone.
I am now learning to my my new DJI mini SE. I absolutely love it. As far as beginner drones go, you just can't go wrong with it. Thank you for all the videos, the content is exactly what I needed.
I just bought a mini 2 and I can't get the battery out. COMPLETE disappointment. I feel like I'm going to break the drone trying to get the battery out. I'm now in the market for another drone and considering sending the DJI back.
I have a couple of other Holy Stone drones and I must say their customer care is first rate and for beginners the drones are great :-) Yours seems to cope with the wind far better than mine do though.
I hope captain drone notices me and gives me even a less expensive drone, it's been a long time because it's a dream, it's just not really within the budget,God bless

dont wish a maserati on anyone, they are mostly terrible cars, which is why they sink like a rock in value.
that said, they can be impressive for the price if you buy an old one and know what to look for and what to avoid, like one of the worst AT's in the history of cars.
should anything go wrong though, its no jeep. hand made cars are super expensive to work on.

It is definitely another good Budget drone for beginners!
I can't find its price anwhere, not even in a single link but I am pretty confident that it costs less then 400 dollars!
It flies nicely and is also stable (ignore when GPS is off, lol) and has satisfactory precise Waypoints, Follow me, Orbit mode and Return to Home.
I think that Holystone will be making a 3 axis Gimbal drone soon!
Overall, it is not so different from other beginner drones may it be the former Holystone Drones but these controllers are impressive as they have the small display even though they don't show the thing that the camera sees and they are powered by only two AA batteries!
Also the range of 720G as well as flight time is ordinary but it is pretty fast, probably 50 Kph+!
Thank you for the review. I've researched so many drones and I am going to get this one. DJI drones seem awesome as well, but the android app problem is ridiculous. I wish they can work that out. I didn't realize this 720g was that fast in sport mode.

They usually start off with a high price but then as the year progresses the price drops. In some countries where the DJI products are not sold, this then becomes an option.
My first intro to Drones was a Holy Stone HS270 - Great drone for silly money - This looks pretty similar, but with a gimbal - great review

Nearly all the Holy Stone products share the DNA with the MJX RC company ( which is a good thing ). This particular model appears to be the MJX B12 EIS model repackaged with the addition of a 2 axis EIS camera. The B12 is a very good reasonably priced drone, with the addition of the gimbal this HS720G is even better. You pay a premium for the Holy Stone brand, but they do have an excellent customer service should you require.

That high speed setting was something else. Thanks to your Great video reviews I am narrowing down which GPS, 3-axis gimble, etc.. drone to get for the money using bugs 16 pro as my baseline.
Wow is nice to ser other drone companies getting into the mix with good products. I wonder why Skydio don’t come out with a drone with a controller. The drone looks great for the entry/budget section of the market.

Image quality seemed really good for the $. Pics/vid/app all look like they work ok!
I watched your vid on the holystone 720 a few years ago. So I purchased one. Had lots of fun with it. Last month it decided to leave me. Wouldn't respond to controller and crashed into treetops to far for me to recover. I'm interested in one of the mini drones now but cannot make my mind up.

DJI Mini SE same price range as hs 720e
I own three Holy Stone drones. All of them have problems. I have the 720 and 720e both control horrible. Frequent glitches and GPS loss. The only good thing about either one of them is the camera on the 720e. When it hovers right you can get a good picture on it. But flight control, these things drift, towlet bowl and flyaway. For the price go with the DJI SE youll not be disappointed.

I can't seem to get the battery out of my brand new DJI without breaking it. DISGUSTED. Now I don't have much choice but to go with another brand.

Wanted to watch this video to see your view on the 720G, looks little a big improvement on the 720E. Sadly l won't be purchasing it as l have lost faith in the brand. Customer service used to be excellent but after my replacement 720E failed they done want to know.
So the Exo Blackhawk is a rebranded hubsan Zino pro or pro plus. I know u reviewed Zino's. Would u choose a Zino or mini 2? Ty ttl

I bought the hs720g a month ago & unfortunately I will be returning it. Most of the flights have been great & the video footage is quite smooth however this drone will suddenly take off very quickly & wildly during flight. Once this happens it's very difficult to control & Once I do get it to the ground it will sometimes flip over after landing while the props are spinning wildly. This has now happened 3 times which is not only a drag for me but is also potentially dangerous for humans & pets. I don't know what I will buy to replace it.
Interesting, It has the same controller as the mjx bugs 16 pro ! And similar settings too!
Looks like a Mjx drone. Gimbal, remote... Maybe mjx mg1?

Love your videos. Darn you cost me a lot of money! Ordered the Arrow 5 last night. Now I am looking at my HS720e like it is obsolete. I fly my DJI Mini 2 mainly but buy lower dollar drones for trying new things.

Whats the charge time on the batteries? Is it like 5 hours per battery like the HS720E?
Not sure, mine came 3/4 charged, so charge time was short. USB charging of batteries is normally not super fast.
I much prefer the HS600.
@Captain drone: it seems like you were more impressed with the 720E. Do you prefer the 720E to the 720G?
My brain is foggy. I honestly don't recall both very well. But the "G" would mean GIMBLE and the "E" would mean EIS, so those may be the only differences.
Great review. This seems like a solid drone. Do you know of any other apps to run it? I know that third parties will sometimes produce apps with greater functions than the stock app. Have a blessed day and thanks for all that you do!

High captain drone.. I'm new to drones. Started off with a $50 drone to learn on with a camera I think its a E58. Nice little drone for indoors, very easy to fly. After a few months it was time to move up. So I ordered a L900 knock off from Wish....I know I know but price was acceptable...($196.00) sigh. It used the same app as the L900. Long story short. Could not control it. It seemed to have a mind of its own. It would hover for a few seconds then it would go left at high speed into the wall, (wife not happy). So took it outside and again, did all the calibrations, GPS etc. Same thing could not control it. Believe it or not but manged to get a full refund from wish. After watching more of your videos, I ordered a HS720E. While waiting for it to arrive, I've looked at other videos on it where people are stating the same problem with the HS just flying off on its own. So now I'm worried and a little fun shy. Any suggestions? I'm also in Ontario by the way. North of Toronto cottage country.
Drones don't fly off on their own, it is always pilot error. It could be a pilot error of doing a poor compass calibration so the drone thinks it should be somewhere else, and the pilot not knowing how to control the drone or shut off the GPS. Holystone and MJXRC drones are budget drones that are usually pretty good. However, just familiarize yourself where the GPS on/off button is. If your drone should decide to go someplace on its on, turn the GPS off and take off. Also, practice now and then and lear how to fly with GPS off.

$200 more and you can get a DJI Mini 2, with a 6 mile range, 4k video, better software, and under the 250g limit, so no licence or other legal requirements. Or for $50 more, the DJI Mini SE, which has less range and lower quality video, but is superior to this drone in everyway, AND still under the 250g limit.
I'm also looking at the DJI Mini SE. And while you stated that you don't need a license for the Mini under 250g, I believe that in the US the FAA requires you to have the recreational certification (TRUST) for any drone, even those below 250g.

Yes, no problem. Everything will work (except the maps) as long as the old phone can talk to wifi at 802.11AC.

Bought the 720g flown 5 times last 2 times had major fly aways all calibrated gyro good and 15 satiate any idea? My 110 does just fine in the same environment
