I recently got a nissan leaf 2018 and I am having the exact same issue. It sometimes opens on the right side and sometimes doesnt. My solution is to open the window and move the mirror myself. A weird thing from this video is that I have noticed a scratch on your car which is the exact same on my car and now im really curious if its the same car.
