I have a 2017 patriot 2.4 . It was in a accident had to replace radiator , ac condenser and fan assembly. Got it all together to find wires hanging out of this relay box. Everything starts up fine on the jeep now and idles perfectly fine but fan wont kick on im assuming theres wires hanging are the cause.
Have a 2015 and I am rewiring the entire harness...Have watched a ton of videos, and even after looking at yours completely cut, I seem to have an extra 20 gauge? blue/yellow wire... did you happen to have a diagram for this??
I have multiple dash lights, high engine rev, multiple U codes and P codes happening after driving in the rain. I replaced top right rad fan relay with direct wiring 3 years ago as it was broken off corroded. Could the middle MAIN relay be bad to throw all these codes? I replaced the MAIN relay. Same results. Pulled the relay out, same results. So, communication error from this relay to the TPIM?
Can relay box go bad? I'm having this similar issue. No check engine light cranks but no start. I removed all relays and vehicle makes no difference in noise. I feel that the box has gone bad. When I pulled those front two it had minor corrosion on prongs I cleaned it and it looks good and I tested all with 9v battery I hear clicks. But like I said no difference when removed from vehicle the car still cranks but no starts with or without the relays. I assumed that it wouldn't even crank if I remove them or am I wrong?
Make sure everything is clean and then clean it all again position of the auxiliary fuse panel is a piss poor design. I have relocated it and then shrouded it. The OEM location seems to accumulate too many roadway elements being slung off the tire.
Okay so I pulled them check the codes and various popped up. I'm assuming that the box is good then. I also replaced my battery 2 weeks ago car ran fine but I was at a stop sign my car engine started to shake and slowly it just cut off. Then tried cutting it at some point it turned on but right when I press gas it turned off.
Now it just keeps cranking, no start I tested all fuses they are good and even pulled crankshaft sensor cleaned it and tested with multimeter and it shows that its working. Someone told me alternator.
@@w124smoker I'm no expert, I use a multimeter but I'm not sure if I did it right. Again when I removed the relays and tried turning the car on codes did pop on my obd2 scanner. When I placed them back no codes pop up. But I was at a stop sign parked waiting to pick up my daughters when vehicle started to shake then shutoff. Cranked up one time and after pressing gas shut right off. Haven't been able to turn on since. Just will crank. I did replace battery about 3 weeks ago because old one had died on me. Could it be alternator bad and it shows no code? I also tried jump starting to test if the alternator was the culprit it still didn't jump
I have no clue where to start though. The interesting thing is the horn wouldnt work. However i moved relays around and now the horn works but still not the ac or fan. Ac cuts on but no cold air. But looking at that diagram i dont see how those relays would effect the horn
Just purchased 2010 patriot. Ran fine. Got it home, insured, plated, etc.. now wont start. Battery is fine. Starter clicks once, then no dash lights or anything. Checked fuses/relays and cant figure it out. Very frustrating. Used last of our savings for this purchase
2010 Patriot randomly won’t start also changed ignition switch, battery, starter good. No corrosion on those relays in video. Read on internet that immobilizer for anti theft near key cylinder could be going out causing this issue. Warning sign might be horn going off randomly.
This vid helped me. I specificially was looking for a way to get the wires out clean
