This should be done in a doctors office. Very easy to get it stuck worse this way needing medical intervention. Would never allow staff to perform this procedure in a jewerely shop. Lawsuit waiting to happen

🤔THIS EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME 10 years ago. I put on a tight ring. Could not get it off. Used dish detergent… wouldnt budge…. Used vasaline…. No hope….. rushed to the Hospital ER….. Asian doctor looked at it and said we would have to cut ring off. Nurse asked me if she could try the floss trick (like in the video)….. she wrapped it half as many times as in the vid and it slid right off!! 👍

How hard did you push it on, when i put on a nicely fit ring and my fingers sweat it becomes really hard to take off and I panic😂 but its not impossible to take off, only gets hard bcs of the sweat
You should start the wrapping process from the tip side toward the hand. When you do it in this direction it forces the blood toward the fingertip and it can cause bruising due to extravasation. If you go up the finger toward the hand it just simply drains the vessels up in the correct direction of venous flow.

This technic is affective but there's a much easier way to get it off the finger and no I'm not talking about soap and string but if you take hot water and pour it over the ring and finger or you could put your whole hand in a bowl if you don't mind getting your hand wet but soak it for about three to five minutes and it will slide right off.

Soak your finger in ice cold water & keep your hand in there for about 15-20 mins then hold your hand up above your head for about 15-20 mins dry then put lotion/oil on & it should slip off

If you wrap the string from the end of the finger toward the ring, it pushes the fluid in your finger back to your hand and makes your finger smaller. That'll usually get the ring off without turning the end of your finger into a grape!
This really works. I had to do this the other day as I had a fishing lure in my finger the Doc put a local anesthetic in my finger and with that my finger swelled up and the Doc told me I had to take my rings off and the only way I could get them off my finger is this.

If you wrap the string up the finger instead of down the finger you will prevent swelling at the tip of the finger from residual blood pooling up.

Maybe easy, but NOT SAFE!! Ffs just cut it off with a jeweler's dremel saw, you can easily fix the band. You need to melt down the band to enlarge it anyway, no need to risk losing your ring finger entirely.

Tienen q llevar gel en el bolso 👜 para estos casos. O en la oficina. Yo tengo poca hierro en casa... El birn star, y la seguridad de los clientes está x encima d cualquier metal.❤

I bet this is not the easiest way, this is also time consuming; best alternative would be to soap ur finger well and move the ring outward by continuous twisting adjustments. Violà, ur ring is out !

This thing happened to me. My husband called ER, but they don't have ring cutter. They told my husband to call fire department cause they have ring cutter. Fire department came and in 2 minutes, ring was gone from my finger. It's a big relief.
