Tip for some soft flat jaw covers for your bench vise, 1/8" 2"X2" aluminum angle, cut 2 pieces to length of the jaw's, notch where needed, clamp in the vise, and form with a hammer around the top of the vise.. 👍

I did something similar with some scrap aluminum from an old engine skidplate. I also have some thin wood, for when I'm pressing something delicate.

awesome video. you could probably almost trim those bushings down even more or replace all together and use 2 of those roller bearings

my first quad was a 2004 z400. I have a raptor now. Wish i would have never sold it. Best quad I ever owned.

@@crazymaze93 I love my Raptor, but the z400 handled amazing and felt way lighter. I also beat the crap out of the 400 for years and it never gave me a single issue.

Hey you can prolly put a hydraulic clutch on that and you would have a clutch that pull so easy ! Even tho there real easy to pull from factory it be cool to do hydraulic with asv levers and the thumb throttle trick

Hey michael, i came across your videos when i was looking for a specific quad engine rebuild, its a 500cc 1 cylinder engine, while inspecting it i came across subaru logo on the engine cover, i have been looking for the same engine this past month and the closest i have found is the polaris predator, could you perhaps look it up? Why not completely remove the bushings and use 2 bearings? The bushing will still create drag.

Same bearing worked on my Blaster throttle - I think the Banshee one is the same
@@MichaelSabo Do you think that needle bearing will work on a Honda 450r or 400ex throttle, for those of us who can't justify buying an URMOSI throttle?
@jbplays7302 I've only tried it in Yamaha and Suzuki throttles. It would be easy to tear down your Honda throttle and measure to see though.
I want to try this on my 521 shee. Thumb gets tired quick pulling 2 39mm pwk slides haha. Bearing should help!!
@dennisbrooks186 it should work on the stock banshee throttle. You can also do the lightweight slide springs but honestly, the pull becomes so easy it almost becomes harder to control.
