PLEASE NOTE That this grain is commonly known as Guinea corn and not millet which I mentioned. Apologies🙏.

Thanks for sharing but there is one important aspect of processing that was omitted. For it to be completely healthy and organically free of fertilizer it is advisable you soak the guinea corn in warm water for a day, after which you wash it thoroughly. You will be surprised to see how dirty it is and plenty of stones that settled under it. It would have fermented too whereby all the fertilizer used in planting will also be removed. After this you will now dry it before you take it to commercial miller. This processing method is applicable to all grains. Eat right and stay healthy.

She is right in my region in East Africa millet and sorgum is our main dish every day, women are slander even after having many children with very flat belly especialy those in the villages. My has had 12 childrennbut she very tight and flat belly and yet we eat three big meals including fruits in between and tea time euth lots of nuts between 5_ 6pm.
That is sorgum not millet sis. Millet seeds are very small and the flour is darker than that of sorgum. The sorgum plant is higher, bigger and the millet is shorter mostly the same length as natural Rice plant. Millet Fufu is darker. I come from East Africa and my region is known for eating millet and Sorgum. In my area we first toss the seeds ( pan fry it alittle) Without oil before grinding. Millet and sorgum for poridge we grind it without frying it to keep more nutrients. We also mix it with cassava flour for making Fufu( millet bread) very delicious with smoked or dry fish in peanut sauce or dried mushrooms in peanut sauce. I never knew that Nigerian also have Millennium and sorgum because their they are known for the plain White fufu but millet is more nutricious.
