    I am an American. I made fufu for the first time yesterday. The family loved it. I will make it again, trying it with the skin left on the plantain.

      J’suis africaine de l’ouest et c’est la première fois que je vois que l’on cuit la banane avec la peau 🤮🤮🤮🤮. Invraisemblable , car la banane sous aucun prétexte se mange avec la peau , jamais, jamais et encore jamais de la vie sur cette terre des hommes

      Plantain skin has iron, which is good if you're anemic. Don't use store bought, full of chemicals.

    So I used this particular method of yours in my home for my husband, myself and daughter with correct leafy okra soup and we both enjoyed it. The issue now is that hubby is hooked and wants to eat this particular green plaintain with the skin always. I blame myself for showing my self sha😂😂😂😂 Joyful cook see what you have caused o🤣🤣😂😂

      My mum as being doing this for year this is wrong info, yam flour plantain flour and cassava flour are called amala in yoruba, my mum do mixed the yaw with plantain and sundry it and blended to powder for consumption

    I love unripe plantain so much. Either the porridge or boiled with the back. I have also noticed it takes care of ulcer. I will definitely try this recipe.
