I have to tell you. I'm proud of that record. I really am. I put a lot of effort into it... I wanted to make sure it was something special and I think I succeeded. It was from the heart.
It wasn't my solo record... I was used to being in a studio all the time. I wouldn't fucking leave. The thing is, after Philthy did the drums, he left. After Lemmy did the bass and had to write the lyrics and do the vocals, he left. He went to the fucking pub to play slot machines!
They always came in and did dang-dang-dang-dang-dang and then poof! Fuck it, let the producer have his way. I never did it like that. I was brought up in the Phil Lynott school. You learn to mix. You learn everything and you get involved. I put a load of guitar on there and I enjoyed every second of it.
I wanted the record to be done right. It was for me and I don't care about anyone else at that point. Because I'm not going to have my name on it if it's shit. - เพลง

Lyrics:
Rock 'n' roll, save your soul
And I got it
Give it to me, loud and free
Don't knock it
Let me hear it 'til the end of time
It's the only way
Send shivers up and down your spine
You can't stop it
I'm tellin' you one more time
It ain't no crime, rock it
It's the only way to fly
I gotta have it
Break through, gonna break you, too
You better grab it
Let me hear it 'til the end of time
It's the only way
It'll stop you on a dime
You can't stop it
I'm tellin' you one more time
It ain't no crime, rock it
It's the only way to rock
Rock 'n' roll music gonna stop the world
Can't lose it
It'll make your toenails curl
You can't defuse it
Let me hear it all the time
It's the only way
Gonna make you feel alright
You can't excuse it
I'm telling you one more time
It ain't no crime, rock it
Rock it
Rock it
Primeiro aqui 🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾✨
I saw Hawkwind when Lemmy was still with them
Haven’t been quite the same since
No I have to agree. They had their moments with Alan Davey on bass though. The Chronicles of the black sword was a great tour.
Thanks MB, 👍
One of your best videos !
I also love Iron Horse/Born To Lose:

Thank you kindly Johnny. There is a great shot with Phil and his sister Helen who used to run the fan club and a great shot of Lemmy and Beki Bondage. The other video is not too bad either :)
