  • Another Perfect Single
Recorded at Olympic and Eel Pie Studios in London during February and March 1983, Another Perfect Day would be the first official album without Fast Eddie Clarke and the first with Brian Robertson.
As a prelude to what fans could expect from this somewhat radical Motörhead line-up, Bronze released ‘I Got Mine’ / ‘Turn You Round Again’ in April; with the addition of ‘Tales Of Glory’ from the as yet unreleased album as the bonus track on the 12” pressing.
Achieving #46 on May 21st, the chart position failed in reflecting the absolute spine-tingling majesty of this tremendous song on the A-side. Its almost throwaway lyrics upon the first few listens give way to Lemmy’s life-long tongue-in-cheek reverence to Spike Milligan / Monty Python sense of humour.
After hearing them a few more times; they appear to mean so little, yet in equal measure, so much.
‘Turn You Round Again’ may also have stated a good case for inclusion on the album in the place of one of the weaker tracks like ‘Marching Off To War’.
    I Got Mine
Here's the story, there's only me
No other place for you to be
It's only you babe, it's only you
I can't believe the things you do
Right now, right here, ain't gonna let you disappear
Right now, this time, you got yours and I got mine
Come on baby, go back to start
I got your picture in my heart
It's only me babe, it's only me
    Refuse, disposal, refugee
Right now, right here, you just might be my new career
Right now, this time, you got yours and I got mine
Come on baby, stay close to me
You got me fallin out my tree
Be my lover, the only one
Be anything but don't be gone
Right now, right here, ain't gonna let you disappear
Right now, this time, you got yours and I got mine
