great tips.. the lag one is something ppl don't do enough of.. in extreme action shots being not afraid to let the object almost exit frame or in some cases (eg lone object in sky moving at speed) completely exit frame before the camera picks it up again.. as if the cameraman had to open his other eye and scan the area around before relocating the camera to the subject! for the last one with a handheld camera I walked through a street in the middle of the road and filmed a minute of that. I then tracked that motion in boujou and brought it to Maya. I then extracted out the motion and removed the forward z motion. I then bind this camera data with about animatable camera that has controls to bring in a percentage of the tracked camera data. the result is I can animate a camera doing anything I want roughly and then bring in a percentage of authentic camera motion mixed in.. works really well overall and it's more authentic than a simple noise function mixed in.
i'd love to see more complex camera movement. like an over the shoulder shot and then camera rotates out to a front shot, and the camera stays in frame.
Great Camera Animation tips, Thanks for sharing , I want know more camera techniques, like suddenly zoom in & zoom out and long shot tracking character can share some idea
Hey, dude. How did you create the camera crane in Maya? I don't find any video tutorials about this cool feature. May you make a tutorial about a camera cran like in this vid? It may help me to get better shots in Maya. Howerver, cool video :) Like it :)
overshoot and recover is a good trick.. sometimes happens if a cam does a fast zoom in where it tries to recover or focus.. goes too far then corrects. another trick is almost step by step.. out of focus.. then slowly focus back in and add a few fast shifts.. our hands don't move in perfect spline interpolated motions so when you rotate the lens on a cam to pull focus the natural rotation of the wrist/elbow results in extra noise and imperfect rotation of the lens similarly for a button based zoom in.. those things are never accurate and can often result in no movement then a sudden shift as you attempt to get a smooth zoom. also small muscle twitches can adjust how smooth these adjustments can happen. basically sort your rough focus out then add a second additive layer for imperfections I guess. alot of these tricks you can play with in comp With a zdepth pass and it's definitely worth twiddling there tbh where it's faster to play with :)
How do you. Switch cameras but still playing the video. As example say if I had two cameras how can I key one camera then key other one and make the perspective switch from camera 1 to camera 2
How to get a job. am a vfx fresher and no idea what to do. M interested to learn and work but no opportunities are given to freshers. Any suggestions??

Could you please share the file with the camera rig. Thanks for sharing the tips!
Very oxbvious yet very unexpected
Very informative yet very concise
Thank you veeeeery much 😄
I normally move my camera manually but the crane effect is good since it comes with a arc movement that can enhance the overall scene.
Sorry, but How can I do a crane camera?
cool video.. and a tutorial on how to do these would help us more.
I'm a 3D student and your videos are really usefull!
Can't wait for your next videos :)
You make great tutorials / videos!! I enjoy watching them :D
Awesome tips, thanks a lot!

So it is essentially animating the camera as it was your head looking around
great video !
So Cool thanks man.
Nice Tips!
hey, thanks for the video! Can you give any tips on how to mimic camera focusing in maya? i hope its an idea for your next video :)

anthony mcgrath this some of the best tips ive got, thanks a ton! Ill try to share my work online :)

Hmmm...wondering the same...
I use adobe after effects for that
Aziz Felder you can't to my knowledge. You'll have to render out the two camera shots. Then edit them together in your choice of video editing program
You are great!
thanx
Brilliant.
How to create camera direction up down up down in turntable Maya 2018

I use Lightwave I make the the camera track an object

thanks!
amazing!
is it like ...the distance between camera and the frame (we want to show to viewers) is always one unit....... i think not...
brilliant
Cool
Did you buy this software ? :)
Did you?
Can you put a video about motion tracking with 3d character with real people in maya
Nice. But now since we have drones, we don't really need a crane. 🤔

XD im from israel too he so amazing right?!
in israel do you hate all arab around your country iam from egypt
