Training biceps at the end of a back / lat focused is exactly what i dont do. Chances are the back is being under trained if u still have intensity left to put into biceps following back training. Also agree with your cues of elbow drive and taking arms out of it. Your improvements/development in your back are proof of your principles.
You will laugh at this but, taking your arms out is creating frustration, sure you can, you then lighten the load and creating the connection becomes 10xs harder. Your rule only applies to lats, not using arms in upper back will only work on partial reps for scapula and traps but full range of movement in upper back needs the arms to move!
@@TrailExtremes the function of the lats is to adduct the arms, if you you adduct your arms, you will use your lats; All you need to do is follow cues such as scapula retraction or depression, drop the shoulders and pull with the upper arms=very simple, instead of tying your wrists to machines and trying to have super human focus to use each muscle. I know, cues work for me and I have built density using it so far. To each his own, it all works.
Seriously, how Samson didn’t take the Olympia is beyond me. He is bigger than choopan and Lunsford. They are just shorter, his symmetry and cut was better as well. This man is really a TITAN!
Biggest thing with back is drive with the elbows. Focus with driving with the elbows and keeping a big chest as well will always help.
And use ur hands like a hook 💪
