My father is Nigerian and you left out Egusi soup. Also it’s super unhealthy so no not the best thing for a bodybuilder to be eating. I am a bodybuilder myself and you have to eat clean consistently. As a cheat meal I could see him doing that but making it a bit more on the healthier side. Less oil, less salt. Leave the red palm oil and maggi out.
He can get a away with one day of egusi, groundnutstew, jollof rice and beef, some stewed chicken and fufu. Otherwise what is the point of breathing ? lol🤤☺😉@@jesseegwuonwu

Anyone else eat a whole bag of mixed vegetables to keep you full along with your protein. I’m talking about the 25 calories per serving with 4 servings in a. Bag. Shits helpful for me. While cutting of course, maybe not the most optimal thing but it works.
So how much weight gain/week are you comfortable with? Does this change in the offseason too? Is there such thing as too much? I was of the opinion that ~0.25kg/week was standard but it sounds like you’re expecting 5Kg??
Looked awesome on stage at the Olympia. I say this as a fan but your only improvement (imo, as a fan) is deeper lines. You already have size lol 2 or 3 months of that light weigh squeezing and stretching should do the trick. Best of luck.

Genetics plays the biggest role man. You can’t expect to follow his diet and look like him. Setting yourself up for failure. Hire a nutritionist as he has and many other bodybuilders and get proper macros that are custom tailored to your body. I’m a bodybuilder and I do it monthly. As you grow your caloric intake will increase.
The amount of food i go through a day to try and push from 220 to 230 is crazy!! I couldnt imagine how much yo maintain 300 pounds. The anount of money as well. Im dropping $800-$1000 a month. All the OT at work goes to food.
I hope Samson will get back to heavy duty free weights after the “rebound phase”. All those machines just won’t hack it if he wants an Olympian back which is all he’s missing IMO. Go champ!!
Not right now, because you're more prone to getting injured. So machines are perfect until the new muscle tissue is put on, then gradually go to free weights.

Samson is gifted genetically but I just feel his upper body (especially his back) looks like it would benefit from Dorian esk heavy duty training. He uses machines almost exclusively which is bizarre!!
