Journey over grueling mountains, hazardous swamps, and bone-dry deserts on a distant world far from civilization - it is just you, your fellow adventurers and the amazing, jet-powered hover-buggy you built yourself. Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Like he said, the same idea to keep a hover build stationary, but with engines and wheels instead of thrusters.
The best one imo, was the Ornithopter.
Its incredible, it was even gliding a bit when you folded the Wings up for a second, just like in Dune.

@@Mazapine couldve made it bionic but then it wouldnt look like the flyer from Dune anymore, like just controlling it using reaction wheels. and might reqch complexity limit

Yo you should do a dogfight where you have to make large planes with detachable drones or mini planes that have to kamikaze into the other planes. Might be very difficult though

Well u looked at my Ornithopter but u never left the Hover mode... or in different words u never used flight mode. Pls read at least a few things. U never even hold on to Push Buttons and See what Happens, u didnt even Push all Buttons.
you should try making a plane that flies itself using logic and program tricks into it or maybe combat

Day 9 of asking scrapman to play Kerbal Space Program
15:33 that utilizes a technique called a “quantum drive”. Trailmakers physics getting abused by the artificial drag spinning rapidly essentially propels you. You can also give it a reverse setting and it’ll fly in reverse. A stack of 2 quantum drives on top of one another in opposite directions can stabilize your fall (so long as the rudders are horizontal)

I would be curious to see how that turns out because you can easily stop in mid-air, do a 360 and instantly go full speed in any direction you want. The "chase" part would be very different! lol
you should do a dogfight with yzuei but every round you swap planes, so you could make your plane extremely hard to learn, so that the other person has a hard time controlling it
Really appreciate your videos! There is one thing i realized though: In the improbable case you didn't know, the number above the speed indicator stands for the amount of power cores of the creation.

14:54 this build is relatively simple and maybe not the most technically impressive out of the builds in this video, but I think it'd be interesting to see some sort of build battle utilizing "Quantum Propulsion" like this. I feel like there's a lot of untapped potential here!
Never thought the day ill be in a Scrapman vid. The walker has like 77 logic gates so yeah has a lot of programming

I actually met u in-game before. Never knew u were a scrapman fan, but it makes sense since he's probably the most popular TH-camr that plays trailmakers. Either way, good job on getting into his video! (Not surprised at that bc ur builds are just absolutely amazing.)

tank head is like an old man robot going to grab his morning paper yelling at 'those young whipper snappers'.
The hand brake on the Koenigsegg is sending a positive and negative signal to the engines at the same time. Making it stop moving entirely because it's trying to go forward and back at the same time

About the "warp tech" racer - Kosmo made that concept on a spaceship!
try doing some kind of gun fight with delayed shots because i feel like that would be cool :)
The car's e-brake works I believe by making the engines go in reverse as long as the speed sensors see the car moving forwards
Oooh i had a thought... Chicken level stability? What would happen if you combined gyros and power couplings to try to make a stable head?

#videoidea - You an your friend group! Should totally do this video but each creation depending what it is, you guys come up with a challenge or battle to do with them, For one round per creation! For example, would of been awesome to see a battle with that mech from helldiver's with your friends
I think Kosmo accidentally discovered the warp drive while trying to make some sort of space paddle boat ship thing
I made a boxing mech, hopefully the damage update makes the "boxing" part better

challenge idea: two players on a team against two other players in a air to air fight but one persons builds a plane and the other builds a self controlled missiles then they attached the missal and one thing i almost forgot about the plane and the missal can only have the worst aerodynamics.

Day 12: Idea for Trailmakers cooperation challenge: two teams of two people each, you build a vehicle for both teams to use. One person from a team controls one half of the vehicle, and the other person controls the other half. Both people have to be pressing the shoot button to shoot. You make truly amazing content ScrapMan! Please keep your channel alive.🥺

Gosh darn it forgot to submit my build again! I always forget to upload my builds and especially my last build i was really happy with, when is the next best builds going to be?
Having a battle royale with other people's mechs, were each one submits 1 build. Have some time to use the machine and get familiar with the controls, then mayhem as all the mechs try mash one another.

How about you try a sort of Workshop Olymics from Scrap Mechanic you did with kAn.
Maybe on Trailmakers you can do Workshop Battles with Yzuei.
