Taking it OUT OF THE CABINET is insane and definitely a strike against the caller. that is not normal, the chip has no bearing your honor. man probably didn't want to use a NEW PAPER CUP every time he wants a drink, he's a hero.
when she went on about the mug owner being a showoff and a suck up to his bosses I just saw nothing but red flags from the caller. Drinking from a mug isn't pretentious like she's making it out to be! It's giving jealousy and she's only calling in because one of the office admins caught her ass.
Okay I def dont wanna dogpile on clarissa because its DEF not that big of a deal but its always so funny to me when callers are 100% in the wrong and "teehee' it off. like girl.
she saw the mug being washed, then saw it in the cabinet. It's bonkers to remove it from the cabinet and throw it away let alone to double down and lie about it.
throwing away a mug after two days in the sink is INSANE! the dirty water is clearly soaking a coffee ring. i get its not ideal but like what if the person soaked it and then was remote the next day or was home sick or something??? i'd be so pressed hahah
noah fence but the person who threw the mug away it makes literally no sense why you’d do that. i’d be really upset if someone threw my mug away just b/c it had a chip. for the ice skater - definitely let her know you don’t need her opinion. even a simple “i’m not looking for feedback right now” is perfect
The mug think makes no sense the more i hear it. Not a dirty mug anywhere. In the sink area. Most ppl dont put mugs in the sink to keep it clear for use and keep dirty water mugs on their counter too. Then she throws it away when its clean and stored with the other cups. Why throw it away? Also the jealousy about him being ambitious etc and lying…. Idk.
I don't know, if her responsibility is to clean that space and there's a mug sitting there for days like she said, I'd be throwing it away too and probably also putting a note that things that get left out will be tossed.
@@LetumLoL i would get if she wanted to remove it from the cabinet but i don’t think throwing it away was the right move. put it on the counter with a sticky note asking the owner to take it home. but also i don’t think she said she had to keep that space clean, she was just restocking the plates and cups
Totally unrelated but just wanted to send a genuine thank you to Miles and the podcast - recently lost two family members and was having a really hard time dealing with it. I spent hours at night just listening to the podcast while playing a video game just to take my mind off how sad I was. Probably was the only thing able to pull a smile or laugh out of me. I ended up ordering a PP sweater to show support for the only thing that could take my mind off of things. 💕
That lady should just give Pete a black mug with nothing on except big white lettering,”I DID IT”. No context, no elaboration, but Pete would know what it means
Take it from someone who threw away someone’s block of cheese that had mold on and got scolded by the cheese owner, don’t toss anything that isn’t yours w/o asking…
I still don't understand why someone would throw away a mug because it was in a cupboard just because it had a chip in it? Seems like a weird choice. I would be upset, personally, especially if it was a favorite. Also, blaming it on other employees: that's a villain move. I don't feel there's any justification for this
Honestly, agreed. If she would have tried to figure out who owned the mug before tossing it out that would be one thing. But seeing a mug that you already know is someone's personal item and still tossing it? not cool. She could have even asked the supervisor of the other department, like "Hey do you know who's mug this is? do you think it's okay if I toss it out? it has a huge chip in it." I would have been more okay with that compared to just throwing it out. Granted it was a dirty mug that was sitting in the sink for a few days, but that just means someone used it recently.
I agree, why throw something out that was in the cupboard that doesn’t belong to you? It’s so disrespectful. This is making me so unreasonably frustrated 😂
Also she kept bringing up that it had dirty water in it and that it was left out for days but says she found it in the cabinet? Like if it was a clean mug in the cabinet but not where it was supposed to be why not just move it or I don't know just leave it there? Especially since you could tell by the design that it's probably someone's personal mug
It was in the cabinet when she threw it away. That’s how I don’t agree and when they called her workplace out on wasteful she was like I know… I wish we weren’t. Well miss… you threw away a mug.
Honestly all the mugs I have are from my deceased mom who enjoyed hot tea so if anyone threw it away I would prob lose my shit. Had to confront a Dr. Once bc he was using it😅
Omg skating is the BEST. I go three times a week and I’m not a good figure skater by any means. It’s so enjoyable as a little treat at the end of a long day! I wish I had a bigger adult ice skating community here! My first class was 16+ and I was in fact the only adult 😂
mug girl saying how she hates how her job only gets paper dishes and its so wasteful but then throws out someone elses reusable ceramic mug LMAO i havent heard it brought the up yet but chipped ceramics can be not great for you. besides the risk of cutting yourself from a sharp edge, bacteria can now start to gather and live in the chip making it unhygienic. and depending on what kind of glaze it could be dangerous. there are ways to fix a chip on a ceramic but personally i havent done so and i dont think i would trust putting something in my mouth no matter what type of glue it is :p and gold's a bit pricey. but also not her mug so not her risk xD
it's kinda refreshing to see a guest actually understand that miles is giving an anecdote about being perfect. I've started skipping the 10 seconds of confusion lmao
39:44 this dynamic is why you shouldn’t date people that are older than you. She doesn’t have a standard of what she wants so she’s just saying yes? Ask this person over text more questions that’s the whole point of dating apps. Why are you entertaining this person if you don’t know if you’re interested or not. And if it’s in a hook up way then you should just avoid it because you work with them. Every true crime story that I listen to that has an older male he ends up murdering his spouse. She’s usually younger they were in some capacity working together. She didn’t know what she wanted got into a relationship with him he took it vantage of her treated her like a naïve child in every single situation. This is like applicable to many people. And as I’m hearing her talk like oh I just don’t know anything figure it out. But don’t let him try and say oh this is what you need when you have no idea what this dude‘s intentions are. Like you are way too impressed by one person that’s got a corporate job.
first caller is a demon. she's a petty, jealous busy-body. you owe him a new mug, lady. your protests of innocence only make you more guilty. you did it to be spiteful.
Courtney was charming and relatable!! Her Get Real resonated w me. Also, seconding the calls for a RAINIE AND COURTNEY COLLAB!! They'd be hilarious together
mug girl trying to spin the owner of the mug as the weird one is insane behavior. Even if the office provides paper cups and stuff, it's totally normal to have reusable mugs in the office! Like sure it's chipped, condition isn't pristine. But throwing it away without permission seems so wasteful and inconsiderate. The only situation I can see it being fine to throw away is if you fully break the mug by accident. That's it. I can't remember what episode Miles says it, but he mentioned that occasionally the bully in the scenario calls in to the show to feel vindicated that they weren't in the wrong. This story absolutely reeks of that kind of call in, I hate to say it.

“A criminal? Yeah. A villain? No.”

Please have Courtney back, shes so funny!! Her and Rainie together would be insane!
I thought the exact same thing!

Why’d I read this in miles voice lol

oooooh would be huge
no please. he is so obnoxious. he's a brilliant and kind guy but really takes over convos and is too much for my taste.
Courtney is a refreshing, hilarious guest! That get real segment hit HARD.
Okay I def dont wanna dogpile on clarissa because its DEF not that big of a deal but its always so funny to me when callers are 100% in the wrong and "teehee' it off. like girl.

she LEFT it in the sink. She took it out of the cabinet and threw it away!!!!!! Bonkers
@@lolavela3467 omg I didn’t realize that, that is WILD
i can’t believe no one ever made a “you’ve been mugged!!” joke. so sad

Id be so gutted. My favourite mug has a chip in it but my tea always tastes better in it.
Yeah I didn’t like the vibes of that person. And the reasoning made no sense at all
I don't know, if her responsibility is to clean that space and there's a mug sitting there for days like she said, I'd be throwing it away too and probably also putting a note that things that get left out will be tossed.

Courtney needs to have a podcast with Rainey
Simple rule: don't touch other peoples stuff & then feel guilty when they confront you 🎉🎉🎉
"the more I talk the less this matters" LOOOL
It's like, no girlie the more you talk the more wrong you sound 😂
A corporate episode with an HR guest would be so fun🫢

Pre-workout Courtney & regular Will would be a fire 1, 2 punch

Yeah and then the caller mentioned that they’d seen the person with the mug before so they know they were wrong
“Make reparations like a one percenter should” from Clarissa made me laugh out loud
16:28 working at a gas station I had a coworker throw away my cup. It was obviously a reusable, hard plastic cup. Like wtf
The more she elaborates the less sense it makes. Maybe shes new/this is a first job situation?
Courtney was a great guest. I love her personality!
I feel like I need to see her and Rainie interact 😂
I actually love Courtney's outfit. The baggy pants have a charm about them and the shirt is super cute
You should have an episode that is Courtney + Rainie! That would be everything
I feel like Courtney had Miles in an even more silly goofy mood than usual haha this was such a fun ep🩵

I love Courtney!! Courtney and Angela back to back is life changiinnnggg!!!!
They way that Miles loves and gets into the sassy gossip is a whole mood. 😂👏👏
Please don't touch other people's things, especially don't throw them away! Lmao 😂
And just when I think the show can't get any better, it does 😂 Miles, you have absolutely OUTDONE yourself!
I look forward to this show every week! would love to have Sarah Schauer back on she was great
Miles, you should talk to Steven Lim of Watcher, I think he's talked about opening a little shop of sorts
This made me giggle after the week watcher has had....😅
Courtney was great! She really fit in with the vibe and humour of the pod

what do i need to do to get rhett and link as guests on perfect person
it's kinda refreshing to see a guest actually understand that miles is giving an anecdote about being perfect. I've started skipping the 10 seconds of confusion lmao
i just find it sad when my attention is drawn to the fact almost none of the guests watch the show lol
Rainie and the guest need to be best friends they have very similar energies
Tonya was GOLD!!
I am officially obsessed with Courtney and I don't even know if I've ever seen her before but she's so funny and sweet

LOVED this video!! Courtney is so real too
Throwing a mug away is wild, Clarissa is a criminal! She needs to confess, buy him a new one and learn from her mistakes.
Courtney was charming and relatable!! Her Get Real resonated w me. Also, seconding the calls for a RAINIE AND COURTNEY COLLAB!! They'd be hilarious together
I love Courtney!!! Does this mean we are one step closer to Lady Efron making her perfect person debut?
i would have LOVED that other story so i’m hoping we circle back to that one in another pod 😂💀
I love Courtney, such good energy. Obsessed with taking preworkout before recording a podcast
