I could imagine that, just like with the example in the video, restriction could cause the exhaust gasses to travel faster at low rpm and therefore spin your turbine faster, but this effect would be counterproductive at higher rpm
Well sir you're true about back pressure butttt... If your car is turbo'd you want a little bit of back pressure as it'll spin the turbine faster.
