Questo è il primo volume del corso che W.G. Most (1914-1999) elaborò basandosi sui principi naturali di apprendimento della lingua e sui criteri del cosiddetto "metodo diretto".
Diversamente dal metodo grammaticale, fondato sulla memorizzazione di una serie di regole ed eccezioni con cui l’allievo tenta di decifrare e tradurre testi più o meno lunghi, il sistema di padre Most permette di acquisire l’uso della lingua mediante la lettura di testi di crescente difficoltà, corredata di commenti grammaticali e di ulteriori letture di consolidamento.
In questo modo si viene accompagnati, in maniera molto graduale e con regolari lezioni di ripasso, verso l’acquisizione delle basi del latino, che saranno poi rafforzate e approfondite nei due volumi successivi.

Also if you could record some Neo-Latin texts (like More, Descartes, Spinoza, Valla, Ficino etc) it would would be SO much of help for us, autodidacts who are bored with textbooks built around the Roman Empire and who are mainly interested in reading Medieval, Renaissance and Neo-Latin books...

You are welcome! I certainly plan to complete the first volume of Most, and hopefully the second volume as well.

I can respond by pointing you to a (rather long) article that has several insights into studying Latin as a self-taught student. In addition to reviewing possible different methods, it devotes space in Chapter 4 to studying with "Latin by the Natural Method."
