I get why people want more power but these cars are fun stock even.. I have a Gen 2 and it's a blast every time even untuned.. When I was a Kid or at 17 we didn't have 400 wheel cars that i could actually buy! 400 HP in 1991 was like supercar power back then.. The best we could get were Foxbody's that made 225 HP.. No OBD2 ports. Back then people were turboing cars but without tuning it was a crap shoot.. We did similar things like headers, exhaust, and played with our fuel. But our jumping off point was at around 200 wheel at best back then.. Compared to the 400 to 500 wheel cars that are sold now.. I'm not complaining just saying most of us have nowhere to drive 700 plus wheel cars that fast without getting into trouble really.. insurance is crazy high even for older people like me.. I really don't know how people can afford $800 to $1000 a month payments and insurance all to have the latest and greatest? I have always been a gen or 2 behind for that reason.. 60K tax and tags out the door isn't easy money to me..
I’m also a little older and the fox body Mustang was still being sold as new cars but you could buy a used one of any version and you could buy a 5 psi Vortech A Trim Supercharger for $1595.00 and get into the Boosted game ! You could then buy a 8 rib belt upgrade which you gave you an inch bigger crank pulley and you could get an inline t-Rex pump add on and make 400 wheel all day all in for less then $2000.00 I ran 11.50@120.75mph with that setup.
@@EarsPOV nice ill try it out. But when an actual tune comes out do our cars come with the capability to run full e85 with just a tune or do we need to upgrade injectors
Let’s go just gonna wait for my warranty to run out or should I do it rn will the dealership know and if they do let’s say I tuned it and something happened Alan I in tune it ?
@@EarsPOV ford had canned Ford performance tunes for the S550 that also kept the warranty. Maybe it’s a small selling point but ford is profiting from them too but the EPA is the biggest reason. @EarsPOV I knew I liked your channel! Haha, appreciate the info! The only reason I fear differences between the two is I had a 2024 GT Performance Pack and traded that for a Dark Horse Handling Pack, in the GT my plug in box that allowed for internet searching and TH-cam/Netflix, etc.. will NOT work in the DarkHorse for some reason 🤷♂️ So I get worried some times, thank you!
Wow awesome news, thanks for bringing us this update! The random revs from the mustang during the video are a nice bonus!
They should be reaching out to Lund. The best stock ecu coyote tuner in the planet!!!
It's someone at Ford doing the tuning to retain warranty.
You spelled Ken at Palm Beach Dyno wrong
Wengerd performance is the best idc what yall say
You’re probably right, seeing the trends. Seems to be coming in packages 😢. Which is going to suck
Probably gonna be a Kooks Headers & JLT/Steeda CAI combo calling it now.

I need e85 so bad man
That will be sick once bolt on tuning is available
Yup!!
Didn’t realize I wasn’t subbed I love ur vids I’m planning on getting a gt350 soon
Keep em coming 💪🏾🔥
Just bought a 04 V6
You should throw a GT500 wing on it
Maybe! I actually like the small wing on it already. If I do anything might be a Dark Horse Wing tbh lol
Man bro this is exciting news seriously!
Yessir 🙏
Title says here and your video says coming. Make up your mind
I wonder if there’ll be tuning for 4.09 gears, would love to get a set for mine.
Had a whipple install for a s650 come in our dealer came with the whipple tomahawk tuner so I doubt a ford tech is tuning them all
The s650 can run full e85 with just a tune? I just picked up a 2024 and want to add power but want to enjoy it semi stock before i add twins
You can only do E30 on stock tune
@@EarsPOV nice ill try it out. But when an actual tune comes out do our cars come with the capability to run full e85 with just a tune or do we need to upgrade injectors
Full access or nothing!!
Subbed! Like your vids!
Appreciate that man!
Let’s go just gonna wait for my warranty to run out or should I do it rn will the dealership know and if they do let’s say I tuned it and something happened Alan I in tune it ?
Dealership will know if you tune it. But if it’s a Ford tune I bet it’s under warranty.
Lol so it won't be spicy. Ford tech won't push it like Lund would.
It's to keep the warranty
Warrant!! Come on if you need to worry about that, this is the wrong hobby. I do get it thou
You should not be modding your car if you worried about “warranty” lol wtf
2 months later and still no tuning for the s650.
2nd let's go!
Ford isn’t doing this for warranty. If anything it’s to satisfy the EPA like you said.
Idk bc every tunable option keeps the warranty except the Whipple Stage 2 Kit.

@@EarsPOVwhat about the stage 2 roush ?
Fun fact you don’t need a tune for headers
I know! I'm talking about for Headers & E85!
@@EarsPOV the tune would be just for E85 🤣
No, but a tune would help the ECU adjust to the change in exhaust scavenging.
fr? i was debating bc i seen some run it but nobody around me so idk if it’s legit…
what about e30/e40 are you running that?
You gone get headers for the s650
Yes!
Unless it’s Lund, it doesn’t matter. No point to “tuning” if they biased.
The tune will most likely come from Ford. So odds are it will have a warranty which isn’t a bad thing.
I guess the nitrous community is left completely out ..smdh
Not necessarily. It's not full access yet.
already a s650 running 9 on nitrous on youtube
But.. but.. Dark Horse though 😢
Dark Horse and GT have same ECU so when 1 is unlocked the other is too!
@EarsPOV I knew I liked your channel! Haha, appreciate the info!

So you mean generic tunes not custom tunes
Not necessarily. Kinda how like the Whipple Kit has its specific tune.
@@EarsPOVthat’s indeed not a custom tune. So yes, a canned generic tune.
So nothing yet
Supposedly end of the year. The devices are out. Ford just has to give permission to the select few or just offer it themselves!
