These cars aren't flex fuel. The engine is gonna start running lean, and perhaps is already. I imagine it slowed down at night because the air was even better, but there wasn't enough fuel. You probably added e85 in between rounds as well.
@@Texas_Road_Warrior I’m sure while it’s trimming 20-30% it runs like dogshit. You need a tune to properly run ethanol these videos are badddddd for the community
@@burke985 it actually blows my mind that Steeda was the publisher of a video like this. I get the want to be cutting edge with the new platform, but it could definitely lead to someone melting their new engine.
@@Cronus_1 the stock computer will stop trimming around 20% then will run LEAN …understand now. This is terrible advice and video for a major company like Steeda to put out.
What ratio of E85/93 did you mix for the test and tune? Also, at what point of % blend of E83/93 would the factory ECU stop compensating fuel trims correctly do you think? Yes, I would love to see 93 octane only dyno numbers pls.
@@airflow_conceptsno you don’t… the alcohol content in the fuel will increase power regardless of the tune, as long as the AFR is correct it WILL make more power… the octane benefit just allows you to make more power if you’re knock limited on timing… Same way that nitrometh doubles your power output, E85 will make 2-3% increase in power WITHOUT a tune as long as the AFR is right
Hi Scott, I had a question about the e85. What percentage blend of e85 are you running during these passes? And how are people running full tanks of e85 without a e85 tune? I have a 19 GT and I know some guys are running a gallon or two of e85 mixed with 93. What's the maxed amount you can run on the 2018 to 2023 model safely without a tune. Also, I had a question about the 10r80 and the adaptive learning tables. I know some guys are clearing the adaptive learning tables with forscan or completely turning them off. Do you think this will harm the transmission or possibly void the warranty with Ford?
@@israelr6636 I run a mix of 2 gals 85 and 14 gals 93. Octane comes out to be around 94 ish and change and about E20 from what I get using online fuel calculators. Car does tend to run cooler slightly with the mix and feels like it has a little better throttle response.
Don’t do it without a tune. It is constantly running lean and will eventually blow up. You are tunable. Get a tune for e85 so you can run it safely and actually benefit from that fuel. Go thru Lund racing.
1:20 huh? AFR is not fuel trims and the AFR is still running pump levels. You wont see the AFR change because the fuel trims are doing the work in the background to keep stoich. This is complete misinformation you just said.
Its okay if you can't afford one bud, but you don't need to try and put others down to make yourself feel better. It really just makes you look like a sad pathetic little beta, just sayin
Wow you can really tell by the comments how misunderstood E85 and newer coyote fuel trims work.
You arent kidding.
Love ❤seeing you on TH-cam
You should be racing in the Mustang Challenge series

@@Texas_Road_Warrior stoich for e85 is essentially 10:1, so it could be running lean depending on the percentage of e he has in the tank.

i made a vid on this if your curious
How about put some pressure on ford to unlock them … have an interview with someone at corporate
Hold them accountable for the bullshit
Well done Scott that is and excellent 60’ with no stall torque converter👏🇨🇦😎💪
Would love to see a comparison of the E85 / 93 on the dyno. Would also like to know how much E did you put in the with the 93.
E85 way better. 100 octane, runs cooler, way less chance of detonation and makes more power. No comparison
@maximusvonce1381 I know that but since no S650 can run full E I want to see the comparison from what ever mixture they used vs regular 93.
@@airflow_concepts Of course you need a tune for e85 to take advantage.

Pisses me off tuning isnt available for the 24s. i wont buy one until tuning is possible
Is the s650 flex fuel?? If not, e85 will do more harm than good and really bad advice. You should have added octane booster
Did the e85 do anything I wanna put my s650 on corn I’m literally dying to
Won't be able to utilize it very well with a locked ECU. Just keep it on premium until our cars are unlocked
people are doing it, im not doing it fuxk all that i’m trynna stretch warranty as much as i can
Do you recommend this way of shifting for better performance?

Exactly. Great question because if the ECU is still locked, how can running E85 be a benefit with tuning for it.

Circle d Convert
1.62 with no stall? N fin way
That sounds horrible 500 people in line? The shifting seems off, still nice rip on the track congratz.
I'm curious to ask, should I wrap the kook's headers that I purchased?
Wrap will void the header warranty.

Yeah, it’s also making you run lean. You’re about to blow that shit up. People are so stupid clout chasing these S650s.
