I feel the same - this voice is torture! I guess it's connected to her evilness.
She is mixing 3 different accents to cover up Russian and German accents, really interesting. And the placement of her voice is so different than in one other interview of hers I saw. It's like a completely different person.

She is trying to sound like Julia Garner on inventing Anna
She speaks pure American English with NO accent whatsoever or with almost barely noticeable discrepancies which gives her away as a Native American-born speaker (or at least someone who was raised speaking English as a child). No single russian person will never ever be able to speak THAT clearly if he hasn’t been born in America or at least hasn’t spent his entire childhood in English-speaking countries when his voice mechanism is being formed, making his speech manner likened to native speakers.
As a native born Russian who has spent her entire childhood ONLY in Russia and never been taught to speak English outside my own country until 15 years old I can affirmatively state you that my manner of speaking is not even close to her and there will always remain this heavily-accented pronunciation no matter how hard I try to fix it, it will always leave the imprint of my Russian origin.
So, as a person seeing someone who pretends to be Russian for the first time I cannot wrap my head around the idea of why would she need to hide her American background? Regardless of her ethnic affiliation, which might be whatever, it’s clearly that she’s American in fact of her real origin, providing the fact that she never been noticed speaking Russian in whichever interview she participated (even with Ksenia Sobchak, who is Russian interviewer by the way), and it’s outside the realm of possibility that after 16 years living in Russia she completely forgot how to speak her own language to the extent that she cannot even formulate simple sentence 😂

Why does it matter? Does what she did have a direct affect on you? If not, it doesn’t matter wether she’s lying or telling the truth.

So many other people have done actual crimes and are free to stay freely in the country while checking in with immigration officers every other day. The powerful is behind this hunt because they got too hurt after a broke immigrant woman over-smarted them. Its ego. I hope she wins her immigration battle, whatsover she could still make it in paris or london and fight the deportation order from outside. I am in the same situation kind of, I would rather the worst than coming back home. They never talk about what is it like to feel like you dont belong to the family that you are born in. Painful. She was arrested but she got let out. She then got put on house arrest, then they decided to send her back to Germany (her home country) but she didn't wanna go.
She didn't wanna get on the plane.
So now she is staying in the USA selling art, doing interviews, and making new "exclusive" shows.
She is currently waiting for an appeal, to stay in the USA for years to come, but I hope they decline it and send her back to Germany instead.

She did what others dreamed,she faked it & almost made it. No one ever came as close as she did. Was it wrong? Yes. Did she pay for it? Yes & obviously she is now. There are far worse things in this world,like murder that need more attention than this in the system.
I look at it as we weren't there so who knows how it truly went down. I have no gate towards her at all & I'm sure she will be successful within the right way someday. You do have to admit her style is very chic.

It wouldn't have worked in Europe. In fact it hasn't in Germany. People thought of her attitude as very artificial and even Germans in NYC mentioned that she for sure isn't from Germany. There is just a lot of accepted bullshitting and pretence particularly in NYC.

Do people think that Anna is the first person to do what she did? Or is she just the first one to get caught? There are people in authoritative positions that are far worse criminals.
Anna’s case is a fantastic example of how delusional society has become. The question, “Who decides what is right or wrong?” is avoided altogether as vituperous narcissists claim it’s power for their own selfish interests. How is Anna doing anything different?
House arrest is also used for flight risks. They probably didn't want to give her the option of running & making a new identity.
She was on house arrest because her visa was up now she is deported back to Germany
She will either rebuild her life, pulling herself up by her bootstraps or flame out into obscurity. Give her a chance either way, hell, she is not hurting you is she?
I LOVE Julia Garner and I NEVER fan girl Hollywood type HOWEVER I think her portrayal of Anna made us ALL like Anna more than we should. Julia is loveable in interviews, in Ozark but Anna is just not like able. I feel bad for her cuz I think she does have mental issues and is probably pretty sad inside but there just isn’t a whole lot likeable about her. She’s not overly interesting, kinda annoying, she is nicer though than her portrayal so that’s good. As for her getting famous, I also feel like others have done similar crimes and will never understand why hers gained more attention. I DO believe that others were most likely men that committed similar crimes so maybe her age and sex do factor into this.

I can't finish watching this interview. She is so annoying and sounds so irritating. I don't understand how all these people fell for her lies and how she was able to get other people's money so easily. She is not likable. Probably because she promised them more money. People are after money, and probably some midlifecrisisers found such a young girl attractive.
In the Netflix series I could see an inexperienced girl trying to develop wealth overnight, as if it could occur with the click of a button. I also saw a girl who should’ve focused on designing fashion.

She did receive money she didn't the millions but banks extended her credit in the thousands, writing bad checks, and she skipped out on hotels etc.
