I make a healing salve from olive oil thats infused with calendula, plantain(the leaf, not a banana) and mix it with beeswax and lavender essential oils. It is amazing to heal cuts, burns, bites or anything and its incredibly soothing.

I simply just use isopropyl alcohol to clean wound. Showering with soap also does the trick. Moisturize like normal, and then use petrolatum on wound. You can cover it up if you want.

Neosporin helped the impetigo on my chin clear up really fast when I was 12 years old…the nurse at the doctor’s office recommended it when my mom called about it. I was really thankful because I was so embarrassed by it and it kept spreading. I’ll never forget that, I’m 56 now. So, It doesn’t affect everyone negatively.
Why don’t they take it off the market if doctors gripe about it and think it’s so bad?
