I actually kind of like that her proportions are kinda off. Combined with the clawed hands it gives her more a bestial or monster sort of vibe, which is definitely unique, especially for a Titan
I like her design for the same reason. The vicious porportions and being mostly sharp angles and edges contrasts the Ark being more rounded off and humanoid in build very well.

The original art work for her has her bent over and posed in a very creepy creature type stance so that's definitely what they were going for!

Considering Trypticon's been the Nemesis at least once, I think it's natural to make the ship's robot mode seem bestial in nature.

In the war for Cybertron series Trypticon was the nemesis that megatron escaped cybertron in ,since he failed to defeat omega supreme Megatron turned him into a giant ship
I can see DNA Design doing some awesome upgrades for her...fully articulated hands, full size weapons and maybe if there is room a mod to pop a light in her head so her eyes glow
I'd prefer they replace that soft nosecone. Real-estate that size they should be able to sneak another function in there.

Love the way Megatron called Nemesis their MOMMY. Hilarious
I've never really cared about the design of the Nemesis personally, but they definitely nailed it here and I have some new appreciation for it. I also really love the robot design, the colours, face and proportions really give this menacing, semi-bestial feel to her that I think works really well for the character
I'm hoping this figure will form the basis for a retool into Beast Wars Nemesis. Which was an all round better designed warship than the original G1.
I've noticed that the Autobot spacecraft looks like something out of Star Wars, while the Decepticon spacecraft looks like something out of Dune.
I like how unique her robot mode looks

I like this, the only real weak part to me is the "weapons" they could have been a bit better
Shin blasters are cool, but I’m never using the axes.
Well, if she were in a cartoon or comic, the fin axes would suddenly grow larger when she deploys them. A cheat animation/comics can that can't be replicated IRL except only by a separate accessory.
I think she would have been fine without weapons. Like She IS the weapon as I see it

Watching you move her limbs around made me really dig the weird proportions, she looks a lot better in “motion poses” I think
Personally, I think her proportions are just fine; she's got that creepy Prime Soundwave vibe going on.
Trypticon and Nemesis standing next to each is interesting. In the FoC game, Trypticon's chassis becomes the Nemesis
And Metroplex sacrifices his spark to powerup the Ark.
Only thing missing is some way to represent the tractor beams and the boarding chute (bonus to be compatible with the Ark).
Nemesis and Arc... May not be romantically inclined towards each other, BUT STILL A BETTER LOVE STORY THAN TWILIGHT.
Any love story is better than Twilight.

I've said it for Armada Optimus and I'll say it again here, Hasbro NEEDS to make a sploosh pack for sale. Something like $20 for a pack of six (not necessarily reasonable, but would be realistic...I think).
I would drop $20 if they came in different colors (Red, blue, orange, etc)

I've already got the Ark, now I will soon have the Nemesis
Since box art in recent years often contains Easter eggs hinting at future releases, the art on the front of this box has got me quite hopeful for a Siege Skywarp reissue. The blue F-15 could be the blue seeker that's coming in the army building four-pack (or core class Thundercracker). Since we are getting reissues of Earthrise Dirge and Ramjet (who also appears on this box), a Thrust reissue is highly likely. Those three were incredibly hard to come by, much like Siege Skywarp. I find the Siege Seeker mold to be superior to Earthrise, and-like so many others-I missed out on Siege Skywarp, and it really bugs me to no end. Hot Link's my stand-in, but it's just not the same. Anyway, a reissue makes sense in my little noggin. BUT... it's probably just a reference to the baby jets that come with the Nemesis. A guy can dream.

Sad. In my opinion though, Victorion still looks better, has no serious gap issues (remember that the molds that her up were sold separately when they originally released) that you wouldn’t expect, and has more playability.

I feel that for the cost and taking into account they did not include a bonus figure, they could have done a bit better job on the engineering in her arms to avoid the randomly hanging flaps and extreme tower shoulders that interfere with articulation. The proportions could have been a bit better, too.
I feel like they could have add heals
I don't mind the shoulder pylons, but yeah, the flaps on the upper arms are the biggest issue for me; they keep clashing with the elbows, no matter much you try to angle the flaps out of the way. I can pop them off, and probably will for now, but I'm wondering if I can engineer a solution that means I don't need to.
@@Brickerbrack I think so. At the very least a replacement flap with an extra swivel hinge would go a long way. And if there's a hole of some kind, then it could at least have a tab to hold it in place.
But I'm just speculating since I don't have one of her to see for myself.
She looks great but I couldn't help but that for that price she should have come with more stuff, like a bridge feature as the Ark and an exclusive companion like Mainframe, Full Tilt, Countdown or the Head Masters.
No blast effects? No smaller companion bot? Not a great value proposition compared with the Ark, especially with the price increase. I'm confident we will see the Nemesis on sale for $99 somewhere before it's over. For that price, I'd bite.

I have neither the money nor the space for Titan-class figures, but Nemesis looks super-impressive, and I'm glad Hasbro and Takara went to the trouble of designing and releasing her.
I also have to wonder: since Nemesis is a fem-bot and bloosh-compatible ...

I know some people have made a big deal out of her proportions but I personally really dig it. I can't wait to see what DNA will do to upgrade this because, ya know, everything must have an upgrade.
Its nice when titians actually turn into things and have decent alt modes other than slight variations of titan laying down titan.

I love the ship mode, the robot mode is decent, but that price though… If I ever find her on sale, I might pick her up but otherwise that’s way over budget for me.

I guess we're not getting big chunky Titans like Scorponok or Omega anymore. And, the fact that she's the second Titan in a row without a companion bot, looks like that cost cutting measure is here to stay (at least Legacy Metro came with his huge weapon). Don't get me wrong, that ship mode looks great, but I feel she's the first Titan that isn't worth the asking price.
So she's basically wearing bellbottoms :)

I can't wait for mine. I pre-ordered on Amazon for the free shipping and cash back, and she's due to be delivered a week from tomorrow. This review was the one I was most excited for. I'm sad the light piping doesn't work as great as, well, Velocitron Scourge's, but it's good to see nonetheless.
I wonder what DNA will do for an upgrade kit besides poseable hands. maybe give her a big greataxe? I could see them making a handle for the knee guns to pop off and attach to.

just got my copy, and for those of you struggling to get things to split open, I have a tip, if you've got one of those lego brick separator tools lying around that thing edge is perfect for the job.
I haven't been a fan of the robot mode proportions since the reveal, but it's growing on me. I struggle to see her grappling with the Ark, but as others have said, she's a pretty unique design, and bloody exceptional given the designers had to use such an awkward ship mode as the starting point.
Because of this review i hqve decided my birthday present a week in advance i thank you for your reviews been watching since Age of Extinction was starting to release the toys so 2014-2023 almost 10 years of reviews and toys bought that im glad i got cause of your videos

If Hasbro did collaborations with Disney, I could honestly see this being retooled into Lord Dominator's ship. It even transforms into a robot in one episode.
I'm jealous. I had to give up my preorder for this. Hopefully, I can get her soon though. She is a BBW ha ha. Nice undercarriage. DNA upgrade kit might do a stand. I wonder an upgrade kit would consist of for this girl. The ramps are great additions. Might have to get a bunch of piece to connect pathways to the ship though. Grab her by the sides and wiggle wiggle wiggle. I can't wait to see what toyhax does for this.

I kinda hope that we get maximal and predacon counterparts to the ark and nemesis as well, to have titans representing all four major transformer factions.

Well, at least the Ark and the Nemesis were In beast wars as well as G1 Transformers. They can at least perform double duty, but I understand what you mean. We could reenact Rattrap in that little submersible trying to salvage Sentinel from the wreckage after it fell into the river and over the waterfall.
Maybe when the Rock Lords are reissued they can have their origin story tied to Mt Saint Hillary in Transformers?

Personally, I really like her proportions. The whole asymmetrical torso-to-limbs ratio reminds me of the Big O, which is one of my favorite mecha designs of all time. Sure, it doesn't look human, but I don't think it really needs to.
Would love to see a better face sculpt. She's kinda got a Charlie Brown grumble face going on....and a goatee for some reason too.....hmmmm. They could add some sort of large resin "lightsaber" blades that would clip onto the axe handles to make them not such a joke. Pretty cool seeing this in toy form. Great review as always!

If you've played the war for Cybertron and escape from Cybertron Trypticon becomes the nemesis ship that megatron uses to fight the ark ,I'd love to see a comparison between the two

For a Titan she has the smalls set of weapons imaginable. Hopefully we'll get some third party fixes for those hands and better armaments.

One thing I really wish is a thing, is small titans. Just the titan class figured but on a smaller scale. I know the purpose of titans is just to be BIG, but messing with them can sometimes just be tedious and painful. But I get it, just a big statue with an altmode and some movement
