@@whenisasnakeatail4933 The fact that you lose 4 times on hole-outs (twice in majors), a comment like this makes it sound like it was always his fault. No one is saying he never fucked up because he did plenty of times, but it wasn't always his fault (as you're about to see with my next comment to some other idiot on another comment).
Supposedly Norman was actually pretty seriously injured with a bad back and was playing through pain on that final day, but he didn't want to make excuses or take anything away from Faldo so he never brought it up. Class act.
He mentioned that once years later, but I’m a little sceptical. You just have to watch the way he was pounding his drives that day without once grimacing or looking like he was in any pain. The problem that day was his iron shots. Burch Harmon had given him that short flat tight swing that had no rhythm or flow. So under pressure he lost all his accuracy.
He looked as though he waa in his 60's when it was all going horribly wrong. Nobody wants anything to do with a top level pro who suffers such a humiliating final round meltdown instead of putting on a clinic what they're supposed to do after going into it with what seems an unassailable lead..
That was one big pile of 💩💩💩!!Probably still in shock after what happened and wanted to save face in any way he could. Took him over 20 years to start to admit what really happened. Unfortunately he’ll always be remembered for his losses rather than his wins.
@charlesbreeden2167 You never made it at anything. Greg Norman is a golf legend. No one with any credibility disputes that. You are a nobody and a nothing. 🫵🏻🥴🤡
Feel so bad for him only winning 10’s of millions smacking a little white ball around fields of grass EDIT: I love how I baited all of you and you all got indignant lol rotflmfao
Thanks for posting.

Rory should study this video.
True Champion.
Not a fan of him especially now. But he handles this loss with utter class.
LIV Golf would not exist if he won the Masters in 96
@@AlonsoRules interesting 😮
He was destined to be a runner up in life
@@imtheman4805 If hes a runner up, I'd hate to think what I am??

It shows even the best in the game are human.

9am out of bed that's the problem right there.
Two claret jugs are priceless
Greg Norman should have won the 1996 Masters.
It seems to be an Australian Tragedy you know.
Norman goes +3 at the turn while Faldo goes -3 and seemingly everybody else is burning the course.
So he felt great and nothing much was going wrong but he shot 78 ?
Was Norman scared of Faldo?
Norman beat Faldo head to head World Series of Golf Match 1994 66 to 67 Norman did bogey the last two holes though to only win by one shot lol
Norman always seemed to appear 20 years older when thinga were going terribly for him when they were supposed to go well.
I couldn't find a choking emoji....

What bait actually, I read somewhere that Norman would never get the masters green jacket - it's a one chance thing isn't it?
